This is a copy of the card shown on page 11 of the Holiday Catalog. Thanks to my friend Joyce for bringing it to my attention. I made one and gave it to her.
The Stampin' Supplies List for the Holiday Catalog says that the designer used Old Olive ink for the wreath but I found it was a bit too dark for me so I opted to stamp the wreath in Pear Pizzazz.
It is a bit hard to see in the photo but I ran my Whisper White Pennant through the Big Shot Machine with the Stylish Stripes Embossing Folder. The word was cut from the Gold Foil Sheets and I always use a piece of Waxed Paper between the paper and the die.
CHECK THIS OUT - Clearance Rack Blitz starts Tuesday, receive a FREE Valentine Kit from me when you use my hostess code XQM3VC4S and place your orders in my Online Store at www.shoppingwithbarb.com More information will be posted here on Monday and in my newsletter.
Here is another card using the Merry Minis Punch Pack. I punched the little trees out of our Gold Foil Paper and attached them to a piece of Card stock Vellum with Glue Dots to create my background.
I used the Greetings of the Season set from the Holiday Carryover List and inked the stamp in Versamark and embossed with Gold Embossing Powder. The greeting is punched out with the 1-3/4" Circle Punch and another circle was punched out of Gold Foil Paper, cut in half and placed behind the greeting.
You may be wondering where the Watercolor Wonder Designer Washi Tape and Gold Sequin Trim came from? Well, they are BRAND NEW products from the upcoming Occasions Catalog!! WOO HOO!!! I love new toys to play with. :-)
Aren't these snowmen adorable!! They are made with the Envelope Punch Board. Thanks to Jackie Topa for the idea.
*Cut a strip of Whisper White to 2-1/8 x 11 and score it at 5-1/8 & 5-7/8 *Place it on the Envelope Punch Board with the long edge at the top and punch at 2-1/8" from each end on both sides to make his neck. *Cut a 2x2 square of Basic Black and put one side in the Envelope Punch Board in the center and punch, then round off the corners on that same edge. *Attach your Peppermint Patty to the inside of the snowman with Sticky Strip, fold it up and secure the ends together. *Add the hat piece and cover the edge with a 1/2 x 2-1/2 strip of Basic Black *Punch the leaf image out of Gumball Green with the Bird Builder Punch and a small flower from the Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack out of Red Glimmer Paper as a decoration on his hat. *Punch two small Basic Black circles from the Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack for the eyes and add the highlight with the Chalk Marker *Punch an ornament shape from Pumpkin Pie with the Merry Minis Punch Pack (25% off this week as part of the Weekly Deals) for his nose *Cut a 7" piece of Cherry Cobbler Seam Binding and fray both ends to look like a scarf, wrap it around his neck and secure with Glue dots. *Punch three small circles from Champagne Glimmer Paper with the Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack for his buttons.
Hershey's Nugget Pouch using the star punch and some In Color Designer Series Paper. Video - Hershey's Nugget Pouch
I used the ornament punch in the pack for the snowman's nose. Come back tomorrow for more info on how to make him
I always keep my scraps of Glimmer Paper and our new Foil Paper and use the scraps to crop out some of our smaller punched images. I added the tree to this card that uses our Season of Style Designer Journaling Tags. Do you see something new in this photo? You certainly do, it is our Gold Baker's Twine coming in the Occasions Catalog next month!!!

Since the Envelope Framelits Dies will be on sale for 30% off tomorrow, Cyber Monday, I thought this was the perfect time to show you another use for them. A pouch that you can use for a slim gift, invitation to a party, gift cards and cocoa packets.
I started with a piece of Smoky Slate Textured 12x12 Cardstock from the Holiday Catalog. I am using the middle sized Envelope Liner so I cut my paper to 5-1/2 x 10-1/2 and folded it in half so it measures 5-1/2 x 5-1/4. I placed it on a cutting pad on my Magnetic Platform with the fold inside the die and ran it through the Big Shot.
Open the pouch and lay it on your Stampin' Trimmer to score the sides and top. See photo tutorial below.
1. Lay the pouch on the Trimmer short side at the top and align the edges in the track and score. Flip over and do the same thing to the other side 2. Lay the pouch on the Trimmer with the long side at the top and align the edge with the track and score. 3. Use a Bone Folder to create crisp folds on all score lines. 4. Cut off two of the skinny side pieces as shown in #3 5. Add Sticky Strip as shown in #3 and adhere together to form a pouch.
I stamped my pouch with the snowflake in the Best of Snow stamp set with Smoky Slate Ink. I added the cute little tag with a stamp from the same set stamped in Island Indigo. I wrapped some fo the yummy Island Indigo Chevron Ribbon around the pouch and added a package of hot chocolate and a Bogdon's Peppermint Stick.
Using the smallest liner die, you can create gift card holders!!
Cut your paper to 3-1/2 x 10 and use the same instructions. However, I cut the front flap off rather than folding it down.
