You can use your Stampin' Up! square punches to make zigzag designs!!! I used my 1/4" square punch on this card to create the zigzag strip. See below for some photos showing how I did this.
I used Bashful Blue as my card base, Purely Pomegranate, Certainly Celery and the Cutie Pie Designer Paper for the top border. I stamped the butterflies from Priceless in So Saffron, Purely Pomegranate and Certainly Celery and cut them out. I bent their wings up and attached them to the card with the adhesive on their bodies to give them dimension.
How to make the Zigzags - I used the 3/4" Square Punch in these two photos. You line up the corners of the punch with the edge of the cardstock and punch out a triangle. Continue doing this all along the edge of the cardstock to create the zigzag design in various sizes.
This photo shows me using the 1/4" Square Punch in the same manner to make the zigzag pattern on the above greeting card.
Hope this makes sense, if not, leave me a comment and I will try to explain it a little better.
Thanks for looking!!!

Another great idea and another great way to use the punches. I don't have the vision that you do to use the punches in a different way. Thanks for helping me see how versatile they are.

Congratulations on 100,000 hits, Barb! Thanks for the opportunity for blog candy! This is one of my favorite color combos and I love how the butterflies look when they have been cut out and then posted on the card. Have fun reading all the comments! :)
