A Happy Heart

This was my Control Freaks swap for the Holiday Mini Catalog.  It uses A Happy Heart

   

I stamped the image in Versamark on Whisper White and embossed with white embossing powder.  I used sponge daubers to add color to the heart using Pretty in Pink and Bravo Burgundy ink.  I cut the heart out and adhered it to my Pretty in Pink mat and then to a Whisper White mat.  I wrapped the wide Bravo Burgundy ribbon around it and layered that onto my card.  The base was stamped with the Paisley background stamp in Burgundy ink on Burgundy card stock.

Barb we've just got this set here in Australia in our Summer Mini and I love what you've done here ... might have to use your technique on a carrd i thinks. I also had a play with that heart yesterday and will upload images to my blog later today ... Have a great 2009!
