Not that kind of alcohol...geez, rubbing alcohol!! I tried spritzing some rubbing alcohol on my card stock before I ran it through my Big Shot using the NEW Texturz Plates. WOW, I am not kidding, it makes a BIG difference.
Here is a piece of card stock without the alcohol on it.
Here is a piece of card stock photographed in the same light but I did spritz alcohol on it before running through the Big Shot.
WOW this totally ROCKS!!! The embossing is so much more defined with the alcohol. The card stock is already dry when it comes out of the machine. This is just too cool!!!
Go get some alcohol and tell them Barb sent you!!!

WOW!! Barb, that is totally awesome!! I am definitely going to be doing this with my texture plates!! I love how the detail is so much more pronounced in the alchohol spritzed cardstock!! LOVE IT!

That is a huge difference with the alcohol. So nice to be able to use products you have around the house and can find in little ole Sheridan :) Did the alcohol affect the color of the paper at all? Thanks for sharing a great find :)
