While I am on vacation, I thought I would share the swaps I received from my swap group, the controlfreak swappers. These gals are the best, I am never disappointed in the work I get from this group.
I will start with my swap.
I used the new sets, Circle Circus and Teeny Tiny Wishes along with the NEW Dusty Durango, Chocolate Chip and Blush Blossom colors. The greeting was inked up with my Chocolate Chip and Dusty Durango markers and punched out with the Modern Label Punch. I used the plain side of the Dusty Durango Polka Dot Ribbon.

Today is my birthday and I am 40 something. :-) I don't have too much time to celebrate this year as I just moved into a new home and am frantically getting ready for our two week vacation at the end of the week.

This is one of the projects that I did at a workshop this month. It is a mini scrapbook made out of our Clear Envelopes and some Kraft card stock
I cut my two pieces of Kraft card stock to 7 1/2 x 4 3/4 and scored them at 1" from each end. I added the two Jumbo Eyelets and some Hemp Twine. The images were stamped in Chocolate Chip and the letters were cut out with my Big Shot and the NEW Timeless Type Alphabet Junior Medium Sizzlit set. I also added a little scribble with my Versamarker to keep our friendly bear grounded.

I had so much fun making the paperclip bookmark with the For All You Do set that I thought it would be super cute using the Circle Circus set too.
This set has 10 different circles to play with...fun, fun, fun!!!
I punched out four 1 3/4 circles and glued two together for the front and two together for the back for stability. The image was stamped in Rich Razzleberry and hand cut out along the edge with my Paper Snips. I punched a little flower out with my Flower Trio punch and added a Silver Brad to the middle for a little added detail. The yummy Melon Mambo Polka Dot ribbon finishes it off nicely.

Today's Project is a Love Note with coordinating envelope. You make a Love Note out of a 3 x 6 piece of card stock folded in half. These fit perfectly in our Mini Square Envelopes found on page 168.
My card base is Textured Bashful Blue and the greeting from Teeny Tiny Wishes is stamped in Certainly Celery. The square flower image was inked in Certainly Celery and kissed to the butterfly stamp inked in Old Olive. The square flower image was stamped onto a 2x2 piece of Whisper White using my Stamp-a-ma-jig. The 2x2 So Saffron Textured piece has the edges roughed up with the Cutter Kit and a small piece of Old Olive Wide Grosgrain was attached to the back. The small clip was attached to the main image and I used a Mini Glue Dot to attach the Pumpkin Pie Grsograin Ribbon knot.
The envelope was stamped randomly with the tiny flower image in So Saffron and PUmpkin Pie.

The main base of this card is Apricot Appeal. I used the striped pattern from the Perfect Plum Patterns Designer Series Papers. This color of paper is so rich, the picture of it in the catalog does NOT do it justice. I wrapped a piece of Night of Navy Grosgrain Ribbon around the whole thing and tied a knot in the front. The stems were stamped in Old Olive and the flowers were stamped in Apricot Appeal, Night of Navy and Perfect Plum. I added Gold brads to the centers of the large flowers and Brilliant Blue brads to the centers of the smaller flowers.
The greeting from Teeny Tiny Wishes was stamped in Perfect Plum and punched out with the Modern Label Punch and I hand cut the layer around it.
