Sweet Pea DSP and Rhinestone Brads

Here is another card using the Sweet Pea Designer Series Paper Stack.  You can see some gift bags I did with this DSP HERE.

I used the flower print paper and added some Rose Red Double Stitched Ribbon and a strip of Pumpkin Pie punched with the Scallop Trim Border Punch that is FREE with a qualifying order during Sale-a-bration.  

I also added three square Rhinestone Brads to the upper left corner.  The greeting is from Fun and Fast Notes, I used my Stampin Write Marker to omit the picture of the stamp.

Stay tuned as I am getting my pictures ready to load from my Fun with the Big Shot class I held yesterday.  It was one of three events I had yesterday, yes, it was a long day!!!!  I have my fifth event of the weekend in a couple of hours so I had better get prepped!!!

Mini Love Note Set

I love small things so when I ran across this sample in my projects basket, I knew I had to make it with some mini valentines.  You can see the deets of this project HERE as well as more samples.

Here is the set I made.  The pouch is s 3x5 cello bag and the insert is from the Welcome Neighbors paper pack FREE with your $50 order during Sale-a-bration.

The mini cards are 2x4 folded in half and they are stamped with the Dot, Dot, Dot single stamp on the last page in the Occasions Mini Catalog.  The greetings are from Well Scripted (Occasions Mini) and Whimsical Wishes (SAB brochure).  The greetings are stamped in Melon Mambo and Bermuda Bay on Whisper White and punched out with the Full Heart Punch.  I ran Crushed Curry card stock through my Big Shot with the Scalloped Heart of Hearts Embosslit to create the backing layer for my greetings.  The pouch is tied with a piece of our YUMMY NEW Satin Ribbon.  Do you want a share of this yummy ribbon, I am getting ready to order another round, click HERE for the details.

Eggcellent Eggs Kit - not just for eggs

I purchased the Eggcellent Eggs Kit last month and had no intention of using it for Easter eggs. :-)  I just knew those egg stands would be perfect as strips of DSP on a card.  I made this card before Christmas and forgot to post it.

I used the die cut flowers and stems for the focal point, the egg stand for the DSP on the edge, an edge of one of the die cut flower sheets for the tiny blue strip, the adhesive backed rhinestones for the flower middles and the edge of the modern label punch out with the greeting and the rub-ons for the tiny white details in the background. 

Love the colors in this as I am anxiously awaiting spring!!!

Here is an example of what NOT to do!!  I forgot to crimp my second strip of this Pretty in Pink Polka Dot paper from the Sweet Pea pack so the inside layer looks kind of wonky!!

Both of these projects turned out GREAT!!

Sweet Pea Paper Stack for Gift Bags

I found a covered paper sack gift bag while cleaning my stampin' studio yesterday and thought they would be great made with our new Sweet Pea Designer Series Paper Stack.

 

I used a little nuts and bolts bag
I found in a local Hardware store that was about 4 x 8 and trimmed 1 1/4" off the top of the bag.  The main panel for the bag is a 4 1/2 x 8 1/2 layer of Taken with Teal, then a 4 1/4 x 8 1/4 layer of Dusty Durango and a 4x8 layer of the Sweet Pea paper. I added a 3/4 x 4 strip of Dusty Durango to break up the pattern.  The greeting is from All Holidays and I inked it up with my Taken with Teal and Dusty Durango Stampin' Write Markers.   
The flower accent is done with the Eyelet Border Punch and another pattern in the Sweet Pea Stack and I am working on a video for the flower so look for it shortly.  I used my circle punches and a Teal Ice Square Rhinestone Brad for the flower middle.

It Caused Me Extreme Excitement!!!

I came home from running errands yesterday and lookie what was on my porch!!!  I have received a number of orders this month but they didn't come in THESE boxes!!!!

How fun!!  Here is what the top of the box says. :-) 

I am sure my UPS man is tired of slugging boxes to my house but I will never get tired of seeing him!!!

Vintage Vogue Wellness Wishes

Here is my try at a Vintage sort of shabby chic card.  I used the Wellness Wishes set that you can get for FREE with a $50 order during Sale-a-bration and the NEW Vintage Vogue set from the Occasions Mini Catalog. 

The paper is from the Sweet Pea Designer Series Paper Stack.  I am in love with this paper, there are so many designs to choose from and they all make different looking projects.  The ruffle was done by punching the Eyelet Border Punch along the edge of a 1 1/2 x 11 strip of Very Vanilla.  I then used a Sponge Dauber to add the Close to Cocoa ink along the punched edge.  I accordian folded the strip back and forth a few times and then unfolded it, put a line of Sticky Strip on the ck and did the accordian fold again across the middle of the card.  My ribbon is the yummy Taffeta in Kraft and I added a Pretty in Pink Corduroy button to the center.

I have had this layout saved in my compuer for a while now and finally put it to work.  I used the Well Scripted set from the Occasions Mini Catalog and the Good Neighbors set available with your $50 purchase during Sale-a-bration.

The main card is Chocolate Chip with another layer of Chocolate Chip as a mat that was put through the Big Shot with one of theTexturz Plates in the Stampin' Up! backgrounds set.  The house was stamped in So Saffron and the roof was stamped in Chocolate Chip and cut out. 

The yummy striped paper is from the Sweet Pea Designer Series Paper Pad.  Did you know that this paper pad has 48 12 x 12 sheets and is only $24.95 so each sheet is about 50 cents...What a Deal!!!

I used the Corner Rounder on the bottom of the main image and my circle punches for the house image and some of our Chocolate Chip Wide Grosgrain ribbon to finish it off.

Kisses Sending Love Notes and Glassine Envelopes

Here is a card that I made shortly after receiving my Occasions Mini pre order (one of the perks of being a demonstrator is that we get to order the products before everyone else) in December.  I knew that I wanted to use the NEW Kisses Sending Love Notes and the Glassine envelopes.

I also wanted to use the Welcome Neighbor paper pack that you can earn FREE with a $50 order and this is what I came up with. I added a hole to the top of the Kisses Note with my Horizontal Slot Punch, threaded my Melon Mambo Polka Dot Ribbon through it and used my SNAIL to stick the polka dot sides of the ribbon together.  The background on the Pretty in Pink layer was done with the Perfect Details Texturz Plate and my Welcome Neighbor paper was folded over so I would have another pattern peeking out from the Bermuda Bay Polka Dot Ribbon.

More Chipboard Hearts from my classes this weekend

These were made by Kristen, Denise, Bobbi, Katelyn and me.  I love how different they turn out and everyone loved them!!
