This is one of the cards available at my October Card Buffet Class. I hold my Card Buffet Class on the first consecutive Thursday and Friday of every month. The design of the card was based on one I found in my stash of cards and must be at least five years old. I love taking an old layout or fancy fold and making it new again.
Cut your card stock to 4-1/4 x 11 and fold in half.
Score 1-1/2" from one edge and fold over to create the front of the card, snip a half circle out of this fold with the 1-1/4 " Circle Punch.
Cut your strips of Designer Series Paper to 1/2 x 4, 3/4 x 4 and 3 x 4 and attach to the front and then secure the folded flap by wrapping the ribbon around it.
Stamp your image and unch it out with the 1" Circle Punch.
Create a mat for this with the 1-1/4" Circle Punch
Attach these two circles to another mat punched with the 1-3/8 Circle Punch.
Close the card and attach the stacked circles with a dimensional so it acts as a closure for the front.
The colors are Baja Breeze, Island Indigo and Summer Starfruit. The papers are from the Patio Party Designer Series Paper pack and the 2010-2012 In Color Patterns Stack.
