Welcome to our Color Fusers Blog Hop for August! I love the line-up of colors we are using this month, Basic Black, Berry Burst, Smoky Slate, Powder Pink and Whisper White.
I chose one of the stamps from the adorable This Little Piggy stamp set. I used the masking technique to cover the greeting when I inked the stamp as I wanted to use a different greeting on the card. I chose a greeting from the You're So Sweet stamp set and placed it just between some of the polka dots at the bottom of the card. The pig was colored with the Powder Pink ink pad and a Blender Pen and the grass was colored with a Blender Pen and an Old Olive ink pad. Check out what the other Color Fusers have done with this combination!!!
I haven't used the direct to stamp technique with Stampin' Write markers in a long time and this set is perfect for markers. Our markers are so easy to use and they cover our rubber stamps without streaking. I inked the flower pot in Dapper Denim and stamped it on Whisper White. Then I used the Dapper Denim, Soft Sky and Lemon Lime Twist Stampin' Write markers to color the greeting, flowers and leaves. I also thumped the Dapper Denim over the flowers on the left to create a two tone image. (check out the video for the how to) After I was done inking the stamp, I huffed on it and stamped it on my Whisper White. I cropped both of the images with the coordinating Framelits. I inked the flowers again with the Soft Sky Marker and then added a ring around the larger flower with the Dapper Denim marker to really make it pop. I cropped the flowers with the small flower dies included in the set. Check out my video on DYEING RIBBON & TRIM
I added the same image to the inside of the card but I didn't ink the greeting. I cleaned the stamp and inked and stamped the smaller flowers where the greeting should be.

Welcome to our Color Fusers Blog Hop for June! I love the line-up of colors we can choose from this month. Basic Gray, Bermuda Bay, Old Olive, Rich Razzleberry and Whisper White. I went all out and used ALL the colors on my card!
I decided to use the Happy Birthday Gorgeous Bundle as I thought I could create some fun flowers with these colors. I started by stamping all the line art flower images in the corners.
I did 3rd generation stamping on the bold flower images as I really wanted the outline images to pop. I also stacked my greeting, meaning that I die cut the same image in different colors and stacked them together. I am thrilled with how this adds dimension and interest to the card. For a bit more interest, I added some of our NEW Glitter Enamel Dots!
