Tutorial for the No Sew Fabric Coasters

Last week during the Control Freaks Blog Tour, I shared a set of No Sew Fabric Coasters that I made with my Big Shot and the Sweet Stitches fabric, Big Designer Buttons and Fabric Covered Brads that will all be available on January 4th in the Occasions Mini Catalog.

Decor Stencil Class

I had my second Decor Stencil class last Friday and in addition to the projects that the gals made, I had this sample out for them to see.  I saw it on Julie's blog and knew I had to make one!!  It uses one of the stencils in the Vintage Ornaments I set with stencil paste on one of our Magnetic Gift Boxes from the Holiday Mini catalog.  The greeting is from the Four the Holidays set also in the mini.

 

The gals used the small Kind Thoughts Decor Stencil and stencil paste to create these two gorgeous gift items.  Here is the tile:

 

We used the Charming stamp set on the tag along with Chocolate Chip and Bordering Blue Classic inks.

Marla had a special request for her tile.  Her bathroom is black and white and she needed a splash of color in there so she did her tile in red, I bet it will look great in her bathroom.

Weekend Stamp Camp

I was busy, busy, busy this weekend, I had two workshops, a stamp-a-stack and a stamp camp.  I thought I would start with some photos of my stamp camp.  The gals made four projects but the fave was this JOY Wall Hanging.  I originally designed it to use Very Vanilla card stock letters that I cut with the Serif Essentials Alphabet and my Big Shot.  However, Melissa is a glitter FREAK and she requested that her letters be cut with the Sticky Pages and the Big Shot and she wanted to cover them with Gold Fine Galaxy Glitter.  So if you know me, I want my customers to be happy and that is exactly what we did!!

Here are the ones she and Virginia did with the glitter, glitter was everywhere!!

Vesta was also here to make her Friday nights stamp-a-stack cards, here she is with Jadyn and Virginia

These gals sure know how to make a mess, I had so much glitter on the floor, I had to go purchase a swiffer to get most of it.  I am still finding glitter on my floor. :-)

These were given to my kids from a wonderful customer of mine named E'Lyn.  My daughter said that she just cannot eat it because the packaging is so cool!!!

Father's Day compliments of Angela!!

One of my friends (and customer) Kristen made some fabulous cards this week so I thought I would post them here for you all to see!!

She used the Afternoon Tea papers and Soft Sky Double Stitched ribbon on this one.

Stamp-A-Stack...Fun, Fun, Fun!!!!

Stamp-A-Stack class was yesterday (Saturday).  I had a total of 23 gals signed up.  Four couldn't make it but they will still get their stamped images courtesy of Denise, Sonya, Teri and Melissa....we missed you  Pat, Tara, Lynn and Kathy!!

The gals each stamped 12 cards had a lot of fun....I know I had a blast!!  Here are photos of everyone in action (well almost everyone, where is Teri?) and some of their creations.  I will post my card samples tomorrow.

Birthday Invitation!!

Good morning all, today is going to be a busy one for me so no messin' around.  This is a birthday invitation that my daughter received for her friends party.  It is the stinkin' cutest thing.  It was made by my friend Tara and I wanted to share it with everyone because it is just so cute!!!

Tara used the All in the Family and Famly Accessories sets with Lavender Lace, Cameo Coral, Apricot Appeal and Bashful Blue.  She cut out three balloons for each invitation so that was 60 of those little gems!!  The Crop-A-Dile was used to do the tiny dry embossing circles along the bottom edge of the scallops, talk about time consuming but the end result is soooooo worth it!!
