I'm Back!!!

We are back!! Vacation is always GREAT but coming home has its perks too. Like taking a really long hot shower. I was able to get all the laundry done with my daughter's help, everything is put away and the trailer is cleaned and ready for the next trip. We had a wonderful time.  I have a couple of pics to share with you. Both of my kids are getting really good at water skiing.

GO!!!!!  My son is 7 and has gotten alot better this year on his big boy skis.  We are so proud of him!

 
Here is my daughter coming in for a shore landing, she was just getting ready to "fire the guns" (flex her biceps) as my husband calls it, but I snapped the pic too soon.
 

I was also able to get a gorgeous picture of one of the many sunsets we saw.  This one was taken on our way back to the campground after having a celebratory dinner in Big Fork for my dear hubby who turned the BIG 4 - 0 while we were on vacation.

 

My shoulder fared well on vacation and now it is back to reality and more Physical Therapy.  Thanks to all of you for the well wishes I received while I was gone, it means alot to me. :-)

So we can say that this post is stamping related, here is a Christmas card I made before I left.  It uses the New Pennant Parade stamp set.  I stamped the images in Marina Mist, punched them out with the Petite Pennants Builder Punch, turned them upside down and created Christmas Trees out of them.  I tore some Whisper White card stock and added some Dazzling Diamonds glitter on the torn edges with the 2 Way Glue Pen.

 
 

The Pennant on the bottom was created with the Petal Cone Bigz L die and I added the Merry Christmas greeting from Teeny Tiny Wishes.  If you don't have this set yet, you  need it. :-)

Need for Speed!

 

Do you ever feel the need for speed?  I certainly do and that is how I feel this morning as I type up this post.  I am on vacation while you are reading this, I typed it up back in July before I left.  I was trying to get as many things posted before I left so you would have some nifty things to loook at when you check my blog each day, wasn't that nice of me!!

An Update - A Card - & Something FREE!!

I continued my Physical Therapy last week, even after the crying session, and finished out the week with no more tears!!  Yahoo!!  I have been continuing the therapy at home as I know that if I don't do this EVERY DAY, it will take even longer to get better.  I will be back in therapy next week for three days and then we leave on our annual two week camping/boating vacation.  The two week vacation means that I have to pack a camper with food, clothes, etc. for two weeks for all four of us and the dog.  Under normal circumstances, this is a very physical process but it will be even worse since my arm doesn't function right.  Scrub the camper from top to bottom and then carry load after load of food, beach gear, bedding, clothing, etc. out to it, organize it and put it away. 

Looks like my kiddos are gonna be my pack mules this week. :-)_____________________________________________________________________

I went down to the stamp room again and did get a start on some projects for the upcoming Control Freaks Swappers Blog Tour and finished a couple more cards.

This card was done with the Button Buddies stamp set and some of our Designer Buttons.  This is a really cute set and was one of 12 that I chose with my FREE Sale-a-bration Rewards.

I used the Color Coach to come up with the combo of Riding Hood Red, Perfect Plum and Lucky Limeade.  Did you know that you can add the NEW In Color Cards to your existing Color Coach for only $2.50?

5th Annual Barb's You Might Be Psychic Contest

This contest is so much fun!!  The Last Chance List of stamp sets will be posted on June 1st.  So all you have to do is thumb through your catalog and choose 12 stamp sets that you think will retire on June 1st. (hostess sets do not count).

EMAIL your list to me no later than midnight on May 30th, 2011 and your name will go in the drawing for an any price stamp set (no hostess sets) of your choice from either the Summer Mini Catalog or the NEW 2011-2012 Idea Book Catalog that will be out July 1st.  In the case of a tie, the earliest entry will be the winner.  The winner will be notified June 2nd and the prize will be shipped in July.  Good Luck and have fun!!!! Customers and Demonstrators on my team are eligible, thanks for understanding. :-)
