Birthday Bash Designer Washi Sheets

Washi_sheetsHaving some fun with these Birthday Bash Designer Washi Sheets. The sheets are on page 11 of the Occasions Catalog. The package includes eight 6x12 sheets, two each of four designs in Bermuda Bay, Basic Gray, Crushed Curry and Calypso Coral.

This is one of our Petite Cafe Gift Bags.  A star framelit was used to cut a hole out of the bag and then a piece of Window Sheet was adhered inside.  A smaller Star Framelit was used to cut a star from the Calypso Coral Washi Sheet and that was adhered to the window sheet.  The small white star is the star punch from the Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack and the tiny star is a star sequin from the 2013-2015 In Color Sequin Assortment.

A strip of the Crushed Curry Washi Sheet was added to the front of the bag on the diagonal to create separation and the word "baby" from the Crazy About You stamp set was stamped in White Craft Ink.

Fold the top down and wrap with some Crisp cantaloupe Thick Baker's Twine and Gold Sequin Trim.  die cut the word "happy".

SAB-This Day Project Life Mini Card Collection

Last week, I showed you a couple of cards I created with the This Day Project Life Mini Card Collection. You can find them HERE and HERE.

Today, I have two more cards I made with this collection, which includes 30 Project Life cards (10-4x6 and 20-3x4) that you can use to use in your Memory Keeping or on greeting cards.  The first one was the quickest of the bunch.  I trimmed the card to 3-3/4 x 5 and added the greeting in the middle of the card and the three punched flowers in Crushed Curry, Pool Party and Tangerine Tango.

A little layering with Pool Party and Island Indigo card stock and it was done.  The greeting is from the Sale-a-bration set called Simply Wonderful.  I inked it with our Stampin' Write Markers in Rich Razzleberry, Tangerine Tango, Island Indigo and Crushed Curry.

The second card was super simple as well.  I trimmed the card to be 3-7-8 x 4 and added the greeting from Simply Wonderful in Daffodi Delight.  I layered it onto a 4 x 5-1/4 piece of Whisper White that I ran through the Big Shot Machine with the Happy Heart Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.  I wrapped the layers with some of our yummy Cotton Ribbon in Daffodil Delight.

SAB- Best Day Ever, This Day and You Brighten My Life

Today's card uses a number of items from the Sale-a-bration Brochure.  When you place a $50 order during Sale-a-bration, you could choose one of these items FREE!

I used four items from the Sale-a-bration Brochure on this card, the Best Day Ever and You Brighten My Day stamp sets, Best Year Ever Accessory Pack and the This Day Project Life Mini Card Collection.

I took one of the 4x6 Project Life cards, cut a strip off of it and layered it onto a strip punched with the Dotted Ribbon Border Punch.  I added the stamping along the bottom of the card with the flower and stem images in the Best Day Ever stamp set.  I rotated the flower image a quarter turn each time I stamped it.

The main greeting is from another Sale-a-bration choice called You Brighten My Day.  I inked it up in Coastal Cabana, removed the border ink with a Blender Pen and added it back in with my Tangerine Tango Stampin' Write Marker for the two tone effect.  I punched it out with the Note Tag Punch and layered it on additional tags punched from Tangerine Tango and Crisp Cantaloupe.

This_day_tags_closeThe ribbon was stapled to the tag and I slipped a sliver of Coastal Cabana card stock through the holes in the button before adding it to the tag with a Glue Dot.

SAB-This Day Project Life Mini Card Collection

One of the items you can choose FREE during Sale-a-bration with a $50 order is the Project Life Mini Card Collection called This Day. It includes 30 Project Life cards (10-4x6 and 20-3x4) that you can use to use in your Memory Keeping or on greeting cards.

This_day_card_collectionI chose to make a card using this 3x4 striped card with these cute sunglasses for my daughter.  She is such a wonderful soul and I want her to know how much I love her. :-)

I layered the Project Life card onto a 3-1/8 x 4-1/8 piece of Island Indigo.  My next layer is a 4-1/4 x 5 piece of Rich Razzleberry and I used the NEW Confetti Heart Punch on the edge.  I wrapped a piece of Island Indigo 3/4" Chevron Ribbon around the main card base and added the layers.

My greeting is from a stamp set on page 31 of the Occasions Catalog (shop the Occasions Catalog HERE) called Crazy about You.  Lots of fun greetings to choose from and it is a Photopolymer set so it is easy to line up what you want to say!

Project Life - Everyday Adventure

Little by little, I am making progress. Here is another layout I did using the Everyday Adventure Project Life Kit. My brother-in-law flew down here in his plane last Fall and gave the kiddos a ride. They were so excited and they were able to take a friend too.

Memory keeping is sooo simple with Project Life and Stampin' Up!.  We have a number of kits available and of course, everything coordinates. :-)

Lots of great Project Life Produtcs in my store at

Project Life by Stampin' Up!

I have to admit that I have not really ever been a scrapbooker but with the partnership Stampin' Up! has entered into with Becky Higgins and Project Life, I can  honestly say that I will start Memory Keeping.  This is soooo easy.  I ordered some of the new Project Life by Stampin' Up! products and created these pages.

Last fall, we made an unexpected trip to Denver to attend my Uncle's funeral.  While we were there, we took a day to visit the Denver Zoo.  My kids have never experienced a zoo so this was a thrill for them.

I used the Everyday Adventure Project Life Card Collection, the Everyday Adventures Project Life Accessory Pack and the Project Life Journaling Pens.  The most time consuming part of this was waiting for my pictures to print.

All the printed cards are included in the kit and there are no duplicates.  If you are looking for an easy and storage friendly solution to your Memory Keeping, give Project Life by Stampin' Up! a try.

Each Project Life Card Collection comes in a divided box with a lid.  I added the contents of the Everyday Adventure Project Life Accessory Pack and the Journaling Pens so it is all in one compact place.

The entire line of Project Life by Stampin' Up! will be available in the new catalog.  However, right now you can order select products during May.  Check out the Project Life page on my website HERE.

My 8th Annual Cruise Special will be announced later today!!
