My Digital Studio Hybrid Card

One of the (many) perks of being a demonstrator is that I get to pre-order from the new mini catalogs before they go live for the customers.  When I ordered from the Occasions Mini Catalog back in December, I received a FREE sample pack of the Love Impressions Rub-Ons (see what I did with them HERE) and a FREE My Digital Studio Card.  This is that card (Thanks to Tammy for sending me a picture of it, I had already gussied mine up when I realized that I didn't have a before shot of it) 

This card is top quality and I have been showing it to my customers.  However, I thought it might look a bit better if I made an actual greeting card out of it so that is what I did. 

 

I used the colors from the card and I can tell you that the Stampin' Up! Printing service is spot on with the colors.  I used Cherry Cobbler, Blushing Bride and Basic Gray for my card and I added a sentiment from my Love Impressions Rub-Ons.

Love Impressions Rub-Ons

Here is a set of notecards I made with the NEW Love Impressions Rub-Ons 121886.   I used Crumb Cake card stock for the rub-ons and then tied a knot with the NEW Crumb Cake Seam Binding!!!  WOO HOO, there are four new colors of Seam Binding in the Occasions Mini Catalog.  The swirly image is from one of my all time favorites, Priceless.

 

 

Holly & Jolly Rub-Ons card set & the Holiday Spectacular

I pulled out my Holly & Jolly Rub-ons #119249 and my Jolly Holiday Designer Series Paper #117159 to throw this notecard and envelope set together.  Each card is a "front" only and would make the neatest holiday "thank you" cards.  I am really into quick and easy projects these days. :-) 

You get tons of colored Rub-ons in each package.  The colors are Cherry Cobbler, Old Olive and Very Vanilla.  You can order your set in my Online Store right now!!  Don't forget that there are tons of great things on sale right now during the Holiday Spectacular and if your order is at least $150, you will get FREE shipping on it too!!

The base of the card is 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 and the Very Vanilla layer is 4 x 5 1/4.  The strip of the Jolly Holiday Designer Series Paper is 1 x 4, mounted on a 1 1/8 x 4 strip of Cherry Cobbler.  I then added the larger tree rub-ons in the bottom right corner.  Did you notice the tiny trees in the top left corner of the envelopes, too stinkin' cute!!!!

Weekend Stamp Camp - part 2

Here are the four projects we made at Saturdays Stamp Camp, click on any of the photos to see the project larger:

The most popular project was this JOY Wall Hanging, see it with the letters done in gold glitter HERE, wowsers.  We used the Big Shot, Serif Essentials Alphabet, Scallop Square and the Merry Details dies.  I have kits available for purchase to make this all month HERE.

We also made magnets from 2x2 tumbled tiles.  I love these little things, I am a refrigerator magnet freak!!  We used Berry Christmas, Winter Post, Charming and various other holiday themed sets that I had.  The girls got to make their magnets however they wanted.

This is based on a project that I made three years ago  I think it is called a votive boat.  It covers a votive candle but the light from the candle flickers through the vellum.  I use those little battery powered tealights just to be safe. :-)  They are really cool when there is low light.  We used Serene Snowflakes and Many Merry Messages for this one.  Notice the criss cross of the Silver Elastic Cord to "sew" up the sides.

Our final project was a glitter ornament.  These are so fun and incredibly easy to make.  The one in the front was one I did last year.  I used Tempting Turquoise ink and a rub-on from a set that was available last year.  There is a really cool rub-on set called Word Flurries in the Clearance Rack section of my online store HERE  The other colors I used were Rich Razzleberry, Bermuda Bay and Melon Mambo.  They are just gorgeous in real life!!

More Lots of Bots

This is such a fun set, who wouldn't like to receive this card.

It uses the Lots of Bots stamp set and the So Cool Rub-ons

 

The little button is from the Sherbet Designer Buttons.

Products used are Bashful Blue, Certainly Celery, Basic Gray and Bermuda Bay textured card stock, Photo Corner and Corner Rounder punches, the Crop-A-Dile was used to make the embossed dots across the Bermuda strip.

Yesterdays post, seen HERE, used the Summer Love Rub-Ons to make some note cards and a pouch.  Here are the rest of the cards.   I used some products from the Occasions Mini Catalog, the Baja Breeze Buttons, Small Grommets, Summer Love Rub-Ons and the Walk in the Park DSP.  The Ocasions Mini Catalog ends June 30th.

I really llike this card.  I scalloped the edge of the note card with the Scallop Edge Punch and added the strip of Basic Gray.  All the images are rub-ons.  I placed three grommets along the side and added a knot of Baja Breeze Satin Ribbon from the Valet Ribbon Originals.

  

I added some texture to this card with the large Polka Dot Texture Plate and my Big Shot.  All the images are rub-ons and I added a Baja Breeze Corduroy Button. 

 

Here is a little pouch I made for all the cards.  What a cute gift!!

Summer Love Note Cards with Pouch - Kit in the Mail

I did a class on this project back in April using some other supplies and I thought it would be super cute using the Summer Love Rub-Ons.  I am offering this as a kit for purchase, see below for kit contents.

  

The pouch is made from a 6x6 page protector.  There are five note cards with envelopes in it.  I used the images from one sheet of the Summer Love Rub-Ons along with a couple of stamp sets, scrap strips of DSP and card stock, small grommets, ribbons and the Big Shot with Texturz Plates.

I am offering a class kit to go for this project.  It will include:

1 sheet of the Summer Love Rub-Ons

5 Note Cards with envelopes

1 Baja Breeze Corduroy accent (brad or button)

1 sheet of Cameo Coral card stock, cut and scored for the pouch

1 6x6 page protector for the pouch

1/2 container of Small Grommets

4 pieces of various ribbons for the pouch and three cards

Emailed document showing close-ups of each card and a list of products used.

 

You will need to supply scrap pieces of card stock, stamps and ink.

 

I will take orders for the kit through June 6th.  I will then order the supplies, package them up and have them ready for mailing or delivery the week of June 15th.

Lookie at what I did to my "aloha" necklace!!

We were given numerous pillow gifts during my Stampin' Up! trip to Hawaii and this cute little box was on my bed when I returned from the Luau on our last night. 

 

This was inside.

 

I love this necklace and this morning while I was working, a revelation came to me!!  The necklace is flat on the other side and would look super cute with our Summer Love rub-ons

 

Here I am wearing it!!

 

Doesn't it look great with this pink shirt!!  I think it turned out great so now I have two necklaces!!  WOO HOO!!!

More with the Bright Delights Rub-Ons

I got two more cards done with these yummy Bright Delights Rub-Ons.  These are just so bright and cheery, I love them!!

 

This tree is just so much fun.  You may be wondering what that round thing is in the middle of the trunk?  Well, it is a brad covering the spot where I messed up the application.  I did what I tell my gals NOT to do, I just started pulling it off without checking to be sure I rubbed it all over!!  I didn't rub it very well at that spot on the trunk so the trunk looked broken.  I thought that adding a brad would make it look like a big knot in the tree trunk!!  What do you think??  LOL!!!!

 

Here is another card.  I loved those fun flowers and that border strip across the top just makes me smile!!  I used some Kiwi Kiss Patterns paper on the bottom.  Notice that super cool Kiwi Kiss Corduroy brad....what fun!!!!

Finally, I made something!!!

I received the Bright Delights Rub-ons last week and have been wanting to play with them....finally!! I have been so busy getting ready for all my SAB parties, cutting, sorting and packaging all my product club orders, etc, that I haven't had time to create anything.

Well, this is one of the cards that I came up with.

 

Isn't this just adorable!!!  I am just to tickled with how this card turned out.  I used DSP from the Rockabilly and Good Morning Sunshine packs along with the large owl rub-on.  I cut a scallop circle with my Big Shot and then ran it through again using a Texturz Plate.  One of the new 5/16" brads adds a little interest and the greeting is from the Chit Chat Rub-ons.  I wrapped it up with some Kiwi Kiss Striped Grosgrain.
