I have been teaching stamping classes for a long time and the number one thing my stampers struggle with is tying the perfect knot. I finally made a video showing you how to do it. I apologize for the lighting, I have some new bulbs on order. :-)
In this short video, I tie a knot three different times with three different types of ribbon on three different cards. Grab a piece of ribbon and follow along with me to Tie the Perfect Knot
Happy Saturday to you!!!

The NEW Bigz L Candy Wrapper die from Stampin' Up! is so cute but the assembly can be tricky. It is very simple once you know how and I have created a video showing you how simple it is. Take a few minutes to watch it.
Here are the samples I show in the video.

Stampin' Up! released a NEW punch design a few months ago and here is a video showing you how to use them.
Stampin' Up!'s own Bonnie Thurber does a great job in this video. Love you Bonnie. :-)

While on the Stampin' Up! Cruise, we stopped on the island of St. Maarten/St. Martin. For those of you who don't know, it is an island governed by two countries, the Netherlands and France.
The Princess Juiliana Airport sits on the edge of the island and it is so close to the edge that it is literally the ocean, the beach, a small two lane road and then the runway. The incoming aircraft have to fly right over the beach (very low I might add) as they are landing. There is a restaurant/bar on the beach that has a surfboard at the entrance listing the times of all incoming flights for the day. Here is a compilation of three videos I took while I was there
How did you like that huge plane at the end!! The boys (my husband and his buddies, Tom and Tom) were standing directly under that one as it passed over head and after it went over, the Jet Blast literally sprayed them with sand. We had so much fun on this trip and we spent it with some wonderful friends.

This is not my favorite card but the Sweet Pea flower is cute. {wink}
Here is an example of what NOT to do!! I forgot to crimp my second strip of this Pretty in Pink Polka Dot paper from the Sweet Pea pack so the inside layer looks kind of wonky!!
Both of these projects turned out GREAT!!

Here is my video showing you how to cut apart the soda can with our Craft & Rubber Scissors # 103179 $19.95 and run the metal through the Big Shot with the Snowflake #2 die to create really cool snowflakes. Please be careful when cutting the can as the edges are VERY sharp. After you run it through the Big Shot, the edges are fine.
Comments are always appreciated. :-)
Try using different soda cans. The results are sometimes very suprising!! I used seven different cans in this video and I have to say the Diet Mountain Dew is really cool!! Coke cans are really neat too, try the Diet Coke and the Diet Caffeine Free.
Here are a couple more Pinwheel cards for you. I just cannot stop making them!! If you need to know how to make these, I have a video in THIS POST
This one uses the Cottage Wall DSP and Orchid Opulence and Rich Razzleberry card stocks. I added a Celery Button from the Sherbet Designer Buttons with some Linen Thread.
This one uses the Kaleidoscope DSP and I have to say, I had a hard time with this paper. I made several attempts at it and settled on this one. I used Summer Sun and Regal Rose card stocks. The center ofd the pinwheel is a Summer Sun Corduroy Button.
