There was TV channel on the cruise that played demonstrations of techniques and projects shown at various Stampin' Up! events throughout the year and I thought this one was pretty cool.
You smoosh two colors of craft ink on the sides of an open 6×6 page protector. Close the protector and rub together. Open it up and put in two pieces of glossy white card stock back to back, close it again and rub to transfer the ink. Remove the card stock pieces and pour Iridescent Ice embossing powder over it and heat set it. This is just so sparkly!!!
I hold techniques classes each month, join me next month, the fee is only $5!!!
Cool! Are the page protectors like a pocket or do they open up like a book? The ones I’ve used are like a pocket with one side open.
So pretty! Anything that can be done using your ‘SMOOSH” technique is worth trying!! Each page is then so unique and literally hand made1 NICE!
Thanks for the reminder about this technique!!! I saw this on the Bermuda cruise and forgot about it. My daughter is here this week and we’re actually scrapbooking our cruise. I can’t wait to try this!!! Love you card you made!!
I love the idea of this technique and will be giving it a try for sure!
I love your blog! I am going from hobby to business demo and your blog is so inspiring!!
Thanks for sharing!
