I occasionally suprise my kids by putting little notes of encouragement in their lunches. On Valentine's Day, this is what they will get. I will also break my "no candy in your lunch" rule and give them each a little chocolate treat. 🙂
I used our Mini Square Envelopes and created my Mini Valentine by running Melon Mambo card stock through the Big Shot with the larger Scallop Square on the Scallop Squares Duo Bigz Die This die has been carried over from the last mini catalog so it is still available to order and you can get it HERE. The Scallop Square is the perfect size to fit in these mini envelopes. See what I did with the smaller scallop square on this die HERE.
The Pretty in Pink layer is 2 5/8 x 2 5/8 and the main focal point was punched out with the 2 1/2 Circle Punch. I used the Heart to Heart Punch and some scraps of Pretty in Pink and Melon Mambo for my smaller hearts and used a 2 Way Glue Pen to adhere them to my Whisper White Circle. I stamped my greeting from Grateful Greetings in Early Espresso and ran the circle through the Big Shot with the Square Lattice Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. I call this the Inlaid Embossing Technique.
I also added some hearts to the front of the envelope. I hope they know just how much I love them!!!
