There is glitter on the Pretties flowers and she also used some Corduroy Buttons for the flower middles.

ETA this from Kay:

I wanted to make something to show to my customers. I wanted to prove that they didn’t have to know anything about stamping to make a beautiful project.

I started with a wooden plaque and lightly sanded it. I painted yellow on the top for a base and the edges blue. I then took a “Stipple brush” with a lighter blue stippling over the yellow and the blue edges. I then stippled a light tan over that. I applied 2 of the Décor Elements white “Flourishes” to the outer edges and the chocolate “Welcome” over the swirls. I took flowers from the “Pretties Kit” and colored them using a stamp pad and “Aqua Painter”. I first smooshed the front of the flowers onto the pad then used the water brush to blend in the colors. I also added some yellow from the stamp pad cover to add color. I used “Crystal Effects” on the flower petals then sprinkled them with “Dazzling Diamonds” glitter. For flower centers I used an assortment of “buttons, rhinestone brads, half pearls, and flower fusion pieces”. I added a little more of the CE and DD glitter on and around the flower centers. I next turned my attention to the leaves wanting to use my “Big Shot”. I cut the leaves out of textured card stock and the “Leaves #2” die. I thought the leaves looked too flat so I used a “Stylus” and made the leaf veins. I took the “Cutter Kit” and distressed the leaf edges. Finally I bent up the sides of the leaves to give them a 3-D effect. I used the Sizzlit die and cut some “Little Leaves” to add to the flowers. To adhere the flowers and leaves to the board, I used “Pop-Up Glue Dots” and “Tombow Multi Purpose Adhesive

Please feel free to leave her some comments as I am sure she would love to read them!!!

  2. Amazing work Kay! This is beautiful and really shows how versatile Stampin’ Up! products are. You certainly don’t have to just make cards and scrapbooks with the products. Love it.
