Apples through the window

I have seen a few of these window cards online and I actually received one in a swap from my friend Tammy Fite so I tried my hand at making a couple. My first one uses the Cannery Set of Framelits and the apple stamps from the Perfectly Preserved stamp set (Clear #126692 or Wood #126690) and the apple print paper from the Orchard Harvest Designer Series Paper Pack.

Put a small bit of SNAIL on the DSP to hold it in place while you run it through the Big Shot with the Cannery Framelits Dies.  Attach your Very Vanilla layer to the inside of the card and stamp your apples through the jar hole.

Stamp the jar image in Black Stazon on a piece of Window Sheet and attach it to the front of the card stock over the hole then add the apple over it to sandwich the window sheet between the two.

Stamp the jar cover in More Mustard on Very Vanilla card stock twice and run it through the Big Shot with the coordinating die to create two.  Adhere one on the front of the card and one on the inside.

Wrap a piece of Lucky Limeade Ribbon around the whole thing for an added detail.

  2. Hi Barb, I subscribe to your blog using bloglovin’ and when you posted this card, I knew I had to use your idea for one of my classes. I modified it some, but I’ll be giving you credit!
