I thought this was the cutest thing!! It is a gift card or money holder!!
You take a half sheet of card stock and lay it over your Scallop Circle die leaving a few scallops uncovered at the fold and run it through your Big Shot. Here are some photos to show you what I mean. Sorry about the quality, the sun isn't up yet so I can't get a decent picture. :-) I placed this very Vanilla scallop over the die as a reference only since the die is all black.
Cut a piece of card stock in half and fold it. Place the fold on your Scallop die leaving a few scallops uncovered, I left four uncovered.
Run it through your Big Shot Machine to create an adorable scalloped card.
I also added a scalloped strip of Designer Series paper to the inside to hold the gift card or money. Decorate it as desired and it will fit in our Medium envelopes. Here I used Bellas Bloom set and the Bella's Border wheel with the Bella Rose Designer Series paper. The holes for the ribbon are punched with the Horizontal Slot Punch, lengthening the hole to accomodate the wider ribbons
Have fun making these adorable cards!!!!
These are wonderful! ~chris
I love this idea; that’s why I ordered the scallop die. Can’t wait to put it to use. You share such wonderful ideas! MJ
Thanks for the fabulous idea and instructions…I can’t wait to try it out!
Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful idea and the instructions. I’ve seen other things on splitcost that were done with a fold but I had no idea on how to do it, so thank you again.
