  1. My favorite holiday treat is Christmas cookies with icing and sprinkles. I have lots of cookie cutters, but have yet to make the cookies. You have reminded me to get on the ball.

  2. My favourite holiday treat is Almond Roca. My grandma & aunts always make it and it was a favourite part of going to visit them at Christmas time! I just found your blog off of SCS and enjoyed all your gorgeous cards & other stamped items.

  3. It’s really hard to pick just one but I’d have to say peanutbutter fudge for sure. In the cookie department it would have to be those little round ones that are rolled in powdered sugar, I don’t know what they’re called but they melt in your mouth. Great blog candy, hope I win.

  5. yummy candy offer!! My fav is a recipe we got from our neighbors . . . they don’t know what it is called either. it’s white chocolate, crunchy peanut butter, marshmallows and rice crispies. I haven’t made any yet cause ummmmmmmmmmmm it would be gone already. snort!

  6. I love all the treats at Christmas time! My favorite are my friend Natalie’s peanutbutter balls and my aunt Nettie’s bars that’s what we call them,*bars* like Scotcheroos but better!

  7. My favorite holiday treat is chocolate covered toffee. Or chocolate truffles. Well, really anything with chocolate on/in it is good.

  8. My fave holiday treat is iced sugar cookies. I have to make vegan ones now because my ds has egg and dairy allergies, but have found a very yummy recipe. They’re not Martha Stewart’s, but they do the trick… Thanks for sharing 🙂

  9. My favorite holiday treat is also peanut blossoms! Yummy peanut butter cookies with a hershey kiss pushed on to when they come right out of the oven. Very tasty with a glass of milk. Santa eats them every year! 😉

  10. I love the Holiday season… all bets are off when it comes to treats this time of year! The thing I love and miss the most is my mom’s peanut brittle. She is still around for holidays but can’t make it as she had a stroke… DH tries to make it but just isn’t the same.
    BTW- you have excellent projects on your blog— too cute!

  11. my favorite holiday treats are carmel and rice krispy covered marshmellows.. i dont know what they are called.. but they are so yummy. i look forward to going to my grandmas every year to ejoy these yummy treats!

  12. Enjoyed visiting your blog. My favorite holiday treat are Raspberry-Almond Shortbread cookies. It is a recipe I got off the Land’O Lakes website years ago and it has become a favorite with the whole family. Just finished making my first batch.

  13. My favorite without a doubt are snowball cookies !!! Yummy little balls of dough… walnuts… rolled in confectioners sugar ~ my mouth is watering just thinking about them..!!!

  14. Here’s what I love to make recipe and all.
    Thanks for a chance to win some great goodies.
    Minnesota Munchers
    1 cup butter (softened)
    1 1/2 cups brown sugar
    2 eggs
    2 tsp. vanilla
    2 1/2 cups all purpose flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp salt
    1 cup milk chocolate chips
    1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
    2/3 cup toffee bits
    1 cup chopped pecans
    Preheat oven to 350
    Grease cookie sheets.
    In a medium bowl, cream together butter and sugar. Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla.
    Combine flour, baking powder and salt; stir into creamed mixture.
    Fold in chocolate chips, toffee bits and pecans. Drop by spoonful onto cookie sheet.
    Bake 10-12 minutes in preheated oven.
    Cool on baking sheet 5 minutes before removing to wire rack to cool completely.
    Enjoy (in moderation…they’re so good I have a hard time eating just one!)

  15. I always wait until after Christmas and buy candy canes for 75% off and then walk around at Easter time with christmas candy in my mouth. freaks people out.

  18. My favorite treats are Peanut Blossom cookies… those peanut butter cookie balls with a Hershey’s kiss stuck in the top. I LLLLOOOOOOve them, but only make them at Christmastime. Those plus some eggnog (with Kahlua in it) will make my holidays complete. Thanks for the great candy op!

  22. Oh my! I have to pick just one favorite holiday treat? Does saying anything I can get in my mouth count? 🙂 I would have to say that my favorites right now are the ritz crackers with peanut butter in them and then they are dunked in melted almond bark. I seem to eat more than I can get on my cookie trays!

  23. I have 2 favorites. I love the fried Italian cookies that have been passed down for generations and made every Christmas. And a more modern day favorite is my Pecan Pie cookies. Wishing you and your family a Happy and Holy Holiday:)

  24. I would have to say almond roca and butter cookies top my list!!! Unfortunately, I don’t always take the time to buy them. I haven’t had any so far this year, so I’d better go shopping!!

  26. Anything my mom makes at Christmas time is my fave!!! She makes jam-filled thumbprints, wedding cookies, and she makes THE best Fudge in the entire world!!!

  27. My favorite is an old (English) family tradition called saffron bread or buns. They are made with the most expensive spice in the world – saffron. They are bright yellow with raisins and not too sweet.

  28. Oh, goodness, this is hard! I would say caramels, but I can’t make them and after this year, I’m not trying again. lol Mexican Wedding cookies are my favorite. I first had them 37 years ago and my husband’s mother had made them.

    Anything sweet is usually good to me. White chocolate covered oreos rate pretty high also.
