Every year I make calendars to give as gifts to my hostess club members and downline. This year, I made 75 of these little gems!!! WOW, making 75 of anything takes a long time. :-) However, I appreciate each and everyone of my gals so I didn't mind doing it.
The calendars are made from chipboard coasters and I cover them with Designer Series Papers. I matted the calendar with a coordinating color of card stock and added a ribbon knot. The magnet on the back allows them to be stuck to the fridge. I put a few of each pattern in the pictures and you can click on the picture to see it larger.
This set uses the Bella Rose Designer Series Paper, Kiwi Kiss Striped Grosgrain and the yummy wide Pink Pirouette ribbon from the Holiday Mini
This set uses a few different papers. We have Junior Varsity, Autumn Vine, Georgia Peach and Ski Slope. The ribbons are 1" Double Stitched Rose Red, 1" Double Stitched Baja Breeze, 5/8 Regal Rose Grosgrain and the Kiwi Kiss Striped.
I have a few more sets to show you tomorrow so check back then.
Happy Stampin' !!
Forgive my rather ignorant question, but I’m new to this stampin’ scene… how did you made the calendars? Are they stamps?
I received mine and it’s soo cute! Just in time to replace the soon to be expired version on my desk. Thanks!!
Where do you get your calendars from? I need to get a couple for next year. And these are absolutely beautiful!
These are adorable. I have a ton of coasters that I don’t really know what to do with. This is a great way to use them up. I would also like to know where you get the calendars from.
What a great gift idea! Where did you get the calendars?
Thank you!
Wow, these are great!! A simple, but wow kind of gift. I, too, would like to know where you get your calendars. Thanks!
