As much as I love the full Carousel Notes, I wanted to be able to use them as a Make & Take project in my monthly workshops. This is what I came up with and all the attendees at my March Stampin’ Up! workshops made this card or a variation of it with different papers from the Afternoon Tea Collection and the different colors of the Carousel Notes.
I cut the Carousel Notes into quarters and used the Pick-A-Petal Brass Template to add the dry embossed dots to each scallop on the note. I took a 3×3 piece of the Afternoon Tea paper and used my Coluzzle to round off the top so it would mimic the note.
On this sample, I used the Flannel Plaid background stamp in Soft Sky but after receiving an absolutely gorgeous swap from Rhonda Beadell, I quicky purchased the Twill background and used it at my workshops.
what a great way to get the most out of your carousel notes. That’s a great idea to cut them up so they last longer!
