Christmas and the Fancy Favor Box

Here are a couple of projects I made and they are based on projects I have seen online.   They both use the Fancy Favor box die and the Big Shot.  The card edge and the edge of my Christmas Cocoa DSP were run through in the center panel of the die to mimic the top edge of the box.

Here is a close up of the card.  I added the Champagne Shimmer Paint to the bottom edge of the card.  I also used the Shimmer Paint on the greeting.  I first inked it up in Soft Suede ink and then used a sponge dauber to add the shimmer paint to it before I stamped in on the card stock.

Close up of the stamped image on the box.  It is hard to capture the awesome shimmer of this paint on film.

  1. What size did you cut your cardstock for the card? Did you fold it before you ran it through with the Fancy Favor Die?
    Great idea!
    Thanks,
