Creative Inking Blog Hop

Welcome to the Creative Inking Blog Hop, I am so excited to be part of this hop and I know you will enjoy all the projects this month. Our theme this month is Gratefulness. My card uses the Band Together Bundle and I created this birthday gift for a very special friend of mine. She is the type of person who is always there, day or night, will drop everything to help someone in need and always puts everyone else first. I am more than grateful for her friendship and am so happy that she is in my life. I created this amazing card a couple of months ago but it is the perfect card for her upcoming birthday.
The Band Together Bundle is always 10% off but through Friday, you can purchase it at an additional 5% off so that is a great deal!! I paired the bundle with the Copper Dotted Treat Bags to make an extra special card. I used the Detailed Bands dies to add a fun copper detail to the front of the Treat Bag and then used the flower and leaf dies to add interest around the band.
The two sentiments were inked indifferent colors and I love the efffect. The sentiment tag is also included in the die set.
The Woven Threads Sequin Assortment has some Pretty Peacock sequins in it and they are perfect for the sentiment tag.
I cut a quarter sheet of Pretty Peacock cardstock and added a 4" x 5 1/4" layer of Whisper White to it. This piece is my insert that goes inside the bag. I die cut the flower and leaves using the same colors that I used for the flowers on the front of the bag and added some interest to it.
Here are some cards that I keep in my die set so I know what the dies will look like after they are cut. This is something I try to do with all die sets I purchase as it makes it much easier to use them this way. The first card has the three band dies and the second card has the labels, flowers and leaves.
