Creative Inking Blog Hop - Holiday Gift Ideas

Welcome to the Creative Inking Blog Hop, I am so excited to be part of this hop and I know you will enjoy all the projects! I chose the Candy Cane Season Bundle for my project. A wrapped candy bar is the perfect gift for lots of people on your gift list and the Hershey's Candy Cane bars are my favorite. I used a 6×6 piece of paper from the Santa's Workshop Specialty Designer Series Paper. I wrapped it around the bar and secured it to the back. I then added a 2 3/4" 6 piece of Poppy Parade over the area where the DSP doesn't meet. This way, you can wrap four candy bars with one sheet of DSP.
The candy cane is inked in Poppy Parade and the bow is inked in Pool Party and they are stamped on scraps of white and cropped with the Candy Cane Builder Punch. I stamped the sentiment once in Poppy Parade and once in Pool Party. I trimmed the word sweet from Pool Party and added it over the same word stamped in Poppy Parade.
The candy card is attached to an oval cut from our Sparkle Glimmer Paper with Stampin' Dimensionals. I also added a slightly larger scalloped oval behind the Glimmer Paper and I also added one of our Clear Faceted Gems to the center of the bow.
I also added a 1" strip of Pool Party that I stamped in Pool Party with the snowflake stamp from the set. Finally, I stamped the to/from image from the Labels to Love stamp set on the back of the bar.
