This is one of the projects you can make with the instructions included in the package of Deck the Halls Designer Fabric #121716 in the Holiday Mini Catalog.
It was really easy, I just followed the instructions and had one done in about 1/2 hour. Now that I know how to do it, I can make a whole set!! I think I will be using the Big Shot Fabric Adhesive Roll 122194 on my future coasters as the stitching with the Linen Thread took the most time. I am sure I can iron the adhesive onto the fabric alot quicker. :-)
Congrats to Kathy G as she is the winner of one of my Ribbon Flower Pins for leaving me a comment on THIS POST. OOOOh, that adhesive roll is totally on my next order! I don’t have the scallop square die, but I think the scallop circle will work just as well! : ) And I have TONS of scrap material just waiting to be made into something (and scrap paper for that matter). Thanks for the idea!
I’d forgotten all about the instruction book. Thanks for the reminder. Now I know what to make for my neighbors.
Darling coaster and an awesome gift set ~ add some packets of cocoa or tea and call it good.
