Extraordinary Flora Washi Tape Cards

I have lots of cards to share with you today using the Extraordinary Flora Bundle and Washi Tape! There are so many ways to use these products. Below is a close up of the gorgeous Washi Tape. It has two main color schemes, one is purple and one is red.

I used the more purple flowers on the Washi Tape for this card and adhered them to a Window Sheet before die cutting. I then added the die cut flowers to a 2 3/8″ Circle punched from white.

For this card, I chose the more red flowers from the Washi Tape. I covered a 2 3/4″ x 4″ layer of white cardstock and also a scrap of white to create the focal point. I used the large stamp in the set to stamp the background in Soft Sea Foam ink on a layer of Soft Sea Foam. The focal layer was mounted on a 2 7/8″ x 4 1/8″ layer of Poppy Parade.

For this card, I stamped the large stamp in Memento on a 3 1/2″ x 4 3/4″ layer of white and then colored in the flowers and leaves with Summer Splash, Strawberry Slush and Soft Sea Foam. I also traced around all the images with a Dark Pool Party Blend to really make the images pop. I layered it onto a 3 5/8″ x 4 7/8″ layer of Soft Sea Foam.

This super simple card uses a sentiment and a couple of the Washi Tape images. I placed a strip of the Washi Tape on my Cutting Place and ran it through my Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine. I peeled the Washi Tape images off the plate and used them as stickers around my sentiment. The white layer is 3 3/4″ x 5″, the Darling Duckling layer is 3 7/8″ x 5 3/8″ on a Strawberry Slush card base.

To create this card, I stamped the large image on a large scrap of white and then die cut the large floral die from a large scrap of colored cardstock. I place the “template” I had just created over my stamped images and used Blending Brushes to add color starting with Balmy Blue in the upper left corner, added some Azure Afternoon across the middle diagonal section and finished with Blueberry Bushel in the bottom right corner to create this Ombre effect. I then cut my white layer to 2 3/4″ x 4″ and add it to a 2 7/8″ x 4 1/8″ layer of Blueberry Bushel. I embossed the right side of a 4″ x 5 1/4″ piece of Balmy Blue with the Glass and Gardens Embossing Folders, added a Azure Afternoon banner down the center and added everything to a Thick White Card Base.
