Fabric accents are all the rage lately and I thought I would try my hand at a couple. Stampin' Up! has two different packs of fabric in the Holiday Mini Catalog. They are priced at $9.95 each and you get three extra large fat quarters in each pack. Each piece of fabric measures 18" x 28" so you have plenty to play with.
This card was so easy to make and may just be the one I make this year. I used the Winter Post stamp set and added a folded strip of fabric from our Deck the Halls Designer Fabric Pack (121716) around my 1 1/4" Early Espresso Striped Grosgrain.
Here is another project with fabric accents. I ran the Candy Cane Christmas fabric (121715) through the Big Shot Machine with the Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets and the Tasteful Trim die to create the scalloped border on along the bottom of the Fancy Favor Box. I found an old button covering kit while cleaning a while back so I decided to play with it. I covered a few buttons with fabric and ribbon and added this little cutie to the center of my focal point. The Silver Tinsel makes the perfect handle and is also in the Holiday Mini Catalog.
