We were all convinced that we were going to a bowling alley to do some bowling. Why else would we get pink and black bowling shirts. Well, we did go bowling but it wasn't in a bowling alley. These gals who organize the Stampin' Up! events are AWESOME!!
We pulled up in front of the Dixie Convention Center (the same place we had our Regional Event the day before) and we were all a little confused.
Well not for long as we entered the room, we realized that we would in fact be bowling but it wouldn't be in a bowling alley!!
There were 15 huge screens and we would be Wii Bowling!! I have never even touched a Wii so I was a little intimidated but it was a blast! Here are Jane, Lisa and Connie
Then it was time for Kay, Karen Anne and I to show our stuff. If you can make out the scores, mine was the 180!!
The tables had some super cute decorations on them and we even had Decor Elements Chalkboard Placemats.
Our group was called the DSP's and we all had to come up with a cheer that we had to perform in front of everyone. We were very nervous but it turned out great and we had a blast. I am trying to get a copy of our routine on video and if I can, I will post it here for all of you to see. :-)
This huge "soda" was our table centerpiece.
This was the food table and it was salad, burgers and brats, YUMMY!!
I got my picture taken with Shelli, she is so gracious and never turns down a request for a photo.
When we returned to the hotel, we all had a big cake box on our beds, Dawn, Kelly, France, Jane and I all decided to gather up our boxes and open them in France's room so we would all be suprised (well I wasn't as I had already seen mine but I pretended!)
Lookie what we got!!! A beautiful sweater with STAMPIN' UP! ribbon on it!!! I almost passed out. It fits perfectly and is just the softest sweater ever!! I {heart} it!!! My picture is horrible so hopefully one of the other gals got a better one and I can borrow it.
That about does it for this week. I arrived home Monday afternoon and now I have to scramble to get ready for my clubs this week. I cannot wiat for them to start, I have missed my stamipn' buddies this summer.
