Today is my last day at Founder's. I will be leaving at the crack of dawn (sorry Dawn!!) Sunday morning. I had the best time and this was by far the best Founder's yet!!!
I had a relaxing morning, I ate breakfast and then went to the mall with Jane. She found some super cute clothes to wear to the Main Event tonight and she looked HOT!!!
We checked out the Gathering Place and found the treat of the day!!
We chatted most of the afternon until it was time to get ready for the suprise event. We boarded the buses and headed out. We arrived at the Coral Canyon Golf Course and I was instantly afraid! I don't golf, I don't thnk I have ever even touched a golf club. Thankfully, we didn't really have to golf so that was a relief. We got into golf carts with our team members and went out to "play" our nine holes.
We had to stop at nine holes and there was a golfing or stamping challenge at each one. The first was the Marshmallow Drive and we had to drive a marshmallow as far as we could.
Here I am getting ready to drive that sucker, unfortunately with my Frozen Shoulders, I had to use a pinch golfer and Mary stepped in for me.
Hole #2 was Stampin' Trivia, we had to answer questions about the company one of which was how much rubber does Stampin' Up! use in a year. We thought we were donig really good and at the end of the 18 questions, we got ZERO right, that's right ZERO!!! They were hard questions. 🙂
Hole #3 was a challenge, a member of our team had to eat a HUGE marshmallow. Mary offered to do ths challenge before she knew what it was, after she saw the marshmallow, I thought she was gonna pass out. Since she had pinched golfed for me, I thought it was only fair to return the favor. We had to eat the marshmallow as fast as we could and I wolfed that thing down in 30 seconds!!!
Hole #4 was another stamping challenge. A member of our team had to stamp images in squares as fast as she could. We chose Laurie for this task and she rocked it!!
Hole #5 was Hit it to Win it. We had to putt a golf ball and hit Stampin' Up! products. If we hit it we won it and if we could do it in one shot our team got 10 points. It took me two tries to win the Winter Wishes Stitched Felt so our team did NOT get 10 points from me!!
Hole #6 was the Hole in One. We had to put a ball and if we got it in the hole in one shot we got 100 points. I did not get a hole in one but Cindy did…WOO HOO!!!
At Hole #7 we had to guess the number of stamps in the vase. There were 118 in the vase and we guessed 144.
Hole #8 was Blind Stampin'. Allana offerd to do this task and Christina gave the instructions. It was hilarious!! When we were done with this, Lyssa graciously took a picture of our group up on the rock.
The final hole was the Marshmallow Relay. Shelli demonstrated what we had to do. We had to put a marshmallow on a golf club and run around the flag without dropping it. If we dropped it, we had to pick it up and keep going. This was a speed race and I think we did pretty good!
After we finished all nine holes, we headed back to the clubhouse to find our table. We had a wonderful buffet dinner and then the prizes were given out. There were 17 teams and we took 2nd place!!! We were so exctied to receive the Christmas Lane Simply Scrappin' Kit. Look for a scrapbook class coming soon!!
When we returned to the hotel, we found our last pillow gift. It was packaged in our Blossom Box cut with the Big Shot. Inside was a beautiful fob made from our Simply Adorned Baubles – Clear Crystal – Pink Crystal, Vanilla Pearl and our Trinket Crowns.
Thank you to my incredible customers and downline for making this trip possible. I appreciate each and every one of you!!!
