I finally had a chance to play with this set that I received as a gift at the Founder's Circle Retreat back in September. I have been in a spring mood lately as our temperatures have been in the 60's these past few days.
I don't watercolor very often as I am not very good at it but I do find it VERY relaxing. :-) I used our Earth Elements Watercolor Wonder Crayons and an Aquapainter to color the hat. The colors were, Pumpkin Pie, Close to Cocoa, Ruby Red and Olid Olive with a touch of Really Rust and Chocolate Chip. I also used the FREE punch you can get during sale-a-abration with your $50 order called the Scallop Trim Border Punch.
The Fleur-de-lis on the background is from the Friends 24/7 set and I stamped it in Versamark on Kraft card stock. The Pumpkin Pie Designer Series Paper is from the Welcome Neighbor paper stack that you can get for FREE for about 10 more days with your $50 order during Sale-a-bration. The greeting is from the Fresh Cuts stamp set. I finished it off with a little spritzing from the Color Spritzer Tool and my Chocolate Chip Stampin' Write Marker and a Fire Circle Rhinestone Brad.
Lovely card! Very well balanced!
Very pretty…you should water color more often! Thanks for sharing. MJ
I love this card. That stamp set is so much fun. I love what you did with the color spritzer. I don’t have that yet but I’m pretty sure it will be on my next order. Love you color combo, beautiful:)
