We made Tags in a Bag at the Founder's Circle retreat I attended in September and as I was rumaging through a bunch of stuff yesterday, I came across them.
I thought that this idea would be perfect for Christmas so I made a set using the Spotlight on Christmas set. This set is AWESOME as all the images can be punched out using our punches!! WOO HOO!! I {heart} punches 🙂
I used the small cello bags and a piece of Very Vanilla that is 3×5 and stamped a Merry Christmas image from the Holidays & Wishes set in Riding Hood Red. I stamped the starry swirl from Spotlight on Christmas in Kiwi Kiss. The tags are 2×4 strips of textured Riding Hood Red folded in half to make the tags. I used the 1 3/4 circle punch to mat the poinsettia image which was stamped in Riding Hood Red and punched out with the 5 Petal Flower punch. I added a mini glue dot to the middle of the poinsettias and smooshed them in our Green Bead Duos. Put it all in a small cello bag and punched a hole through the bag and card stock with the Word Window Punch. **TIP – Punch this quickly as it can stick on the cello bag and not punch completely. The Riding Hood Red/Very Vanilla Ribbon finshes it all off.
Stay tuned as I will be posting a couple more Tags in a Bag sets tomorrow!!
