All this cutting is not what I had in mind when I stamped my main image from a new set called Growing Green in Versamark and embossed it. I was going to attempt the Reinker Spread technique but it wasn't meant to be!! So I began to add some color using a Sponge Dauber. I started with Daffodil Delight and then added a bit of Pumpkin Pie. After I added the color, I just knew that I was going to have to cut it out….YUCK!! I am not a fan of cutting, however, I used my Paper Snips and my Hobby Blade and it turned out AWESOME!! The strip on the bottom was run through the Big Shot with the new Vintage Wallpaper Impressions Folder and I wrapped the whole thing with some yummy Early Espresso Satin Ribbon.
Here is a close up view of my cut out piece. It is popped up with Stampin' Dimensionals for that added depth.
The greeting from Word Play is stamped in Early Espresso and I thought the Pumpkin Pie die cut butterflies from the Beautiful Wings Embosslit finished it off nicely.
Come back tomorrow for another GREAT project!!
Wowzer…this is gorgeous. And after the detailed work of cutting all those pieces out you did a fantastic job placing them all back together! Patience is a virtue:) Thanks for sharing. MJ
