My throwback project today is a technique I taught my customers back in 2010 that I called No Sew Ribbon Roses. They are created by twisting ribbon to create a rosette. If you would like to know how to do this, scroll down. 🙂
I got out my RETIRING Happy Celebrations stamp set and the coordinating Celebrations Duo Embossing Folders for these cards. 
I love that I can create the same card with different colors and they are both cool!
Instead of ribbon across the top of this card, I the Rich Razzleberry pattern in the Basics Pack 1 Washi Tape. And don't you just love that little bit of the Mini Sequin Trim wrapped and stapled as an accent. :-) My colors for this card are Rich Razzleberry, Pacific Point and Sweet Sugarplum which is retiring!
I wrapped a bit of the Lemon Lime Twist Ombre Ribbon around this card and tied it in a simple knot. My colors are Bermuda Bay, Pool Party and Lemon Lime Twist.
DIRECTIONS for the No Sew Ribbon Roses – Place a small square of our Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets or strips of Tear & Tape on a scrap of cardstock. Take an 8-10" piece of ribbon (smooth pliable ribbons work best) and roll one end tight. Place the end in the middle of the sticky piece, start lightly twisting and smashing the ribbon into the sticky piece as you rotate the cardstock going round and round until there is no more sticky (or until your rose is the desired size). Cut off the excess ribbon and tuck the end under the completed rose. Cut the excess cardstock around the rose off and add it to your project.
