Welcome to the July 2013 Tour de Freaks Blog Hop! We are so excited to have you join us today.
This month we are sharing some of our Favorite Fun Items. Our tour is nice and short and features some of your favorite Control Freaks Stampers. You may have just come from Sandy Mathis Blog, you may be one of my blog stalkers or you may have just stumbled here…however you got here, you’ll be very glad you did! Be sure to take the whole tour! I chose to use some Halloween themed items from the Holiday Catalog. The Halloween Happiness single stamp is just my style…..cute! I also knew I had to use the Black & Orange Stampin' Glitter and the Witches' Brew Designer Washi Tape. I stamped my image from Everything Eleanor and covered it with Heat & Stick Powder, heat it just a bit so it would be tacky, added the glitter and heat again to set, love the sparkle!! I added one of the patterns in the Washi Tape to the top of the tag for more Halloween fun.
My second project is also a Halloween Card, can you tell that I love Halloween!! This card uses the Tags 4 You stamp set and coordinating Label Bracket Punch on page 37. You can purchase these two items in a bundle and save 15%.
The focal point was created by stamping the main image in Jet Black StazOn onto a Window Sheet. I then mixed Dazzling Details Glitter Adhesive with a bit of Pumpkin Pie reinker and "painted" the reverse of the image with an old Blender Pen. I let it dry and cut it out. I added it to a scrap of Very Vanilla that was punched out with the Label Bracket Punch and layered that on a circle from the Circles Collection Framelits. A bit of piercing with the Essentials Piercing Pack finished it off.
