June 2011 Control Freaks Blog Tour – New Catty Sneak Peak

Welcome to the June 2011 Tour de Freaks Blog Hop! We are so excited to have you join us today.

This month we are featuring New Catty Sneak Peaks and Summer Mini Projects.   I will be showing you some of the products from the new catalog that will be available on July 1st.

Our tour is nice and short and features some of your favorite Control Freaks Stampers. You may have just come from my friend Dawn Olchefske's blog, you may be one of my blog stalkers or you may have just stumbled here…however you got here, you’ll be very glad you did!  Be sure to take the whole tour!  Note:  If you are arriving here on the 19th, please note that not all links may be working yet.  The tour officially begins on the 20th.

I wanted to show you some projects made with the NEW Flirtatious Specialy Designer Series Paper.  I am starting with some stinkin' cute Matchbox Purses.  I used the Matchbox Bigz XL die along with the Scallop Envelope Bigz Die for the purse flap. 

The purple box in the front is done with one of the new In Colors called Wisteria Wonder, I also used the new 3/8" Ruffled Ribbon in Wisteria Wonder and one of the new Designer Printer Brads.  I received the ribbon and the brads on the Alaska Cruise.

I cut a 3×3 square of the DSP and placed it on the Scallop Envelope die to create the flap and then cut it to fit on the matchbox sleeve.  The ribbon is attached to the sleeve before the DSP is added.  You can click on the images to see them larger.

My next project is a Window Card done with the New Best of Everything set, it will be available July 1st.

I used another piece of Wisteria Wonder card stock and another pattern from the Flirtatious DSP pack along with our Notecards with Envelopes.  Slide the card out of the sleeve to write your message.  I used a Lucky Limeade Designer Printed Brad and more of the Wisteria Wonder 3/8 Ruffled Ribbon.  The flowers were inked with the markers and the Eggplant Envy was stamped off once on the left flower.  

Now that the card is out of the sleeve, you can see the super nifty, totally cool scallop circle die cut from the new Perfect Pennants Bigz L Die.  I can hardly wait to show you more projects with this die!!!  That does it for me, your next stop is the super talented Jen Smith and I am sure you will love what she has to share.
