Lace Ribbon Border Punch Snowflake!

The Winter Post stamp set is on sale through Wednesday for $13.48 which is 50% off!!  I used the snowflake from this set with my Whisper White Craft Ink to stamp the large snowflakes on my Crumb Cake background.

How cool is this medallion snowflake!!  I used my Simply Scored Tool and the Lace Ribbon Border Punch to make this 3D snowflake.

Start with a strip of card stock that measures 8 1/2 x 1 1/2 and score it every 1/8" with the Simply Scored Tool.  Then punch it with the Lace Ribbon Border Punch.  Fold accordion style and glue the ends together to form a tube.

Punch a 1" Circle from Whisper White and put a dime size circle of hot glue on it.  Gently flatten the center area of your snowflake to press it into the glue to secure it.

LaceribbonborderThe center of the snowflake is another small piece punched with the border punch and then I used my 3/4" Circle Punch to get just the small flower out of the middle.  I used a Rhinestone Brad to secure it to the snowflake.

The whole thing is layered on a 2 3/8 Scallop punch out in Island Indigo.

This card was featured in my Stampin Success magazine.  I receive a full color issue of this exclusive magazine each month, just another perk of being a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator. :-) Interested in making some extra money for the holidays?  Join my team of demonstrators from all over the country and start right now.
