I am working on my cards for an upcoming Stamp-a-stack and here is one of the samples I came up with. This is not one of the cards we will be making so stay tuned for more samples this week. 🙂
It uses the retiring sets, Wild About You and Short Order Alphabet. I stamped a few of the images on Whisper White card stock and punched them out with the 1 1/4" Square Punch. The images were layered on squares punched out with the 1 3/8" Square Punch.
I added a strip of Chocolate Chip and set Jumbo Eyelets at both ends with my Crop-A-Dile. I threaded the skinny Twill Tape through the eyelets and snipped the ends with my Craft & Ribbon Scissors. These are the absolute best scissors for trimming ribbon, they leave a perfect edge.
The birds were stamped randomly along the bottom in So Saffron ink and the greeting was added as an afterthought. I punched a hole in the front of the card with the 1 1/4" Square Punch and placed the simple greeting on the inside of the card. I am really sad to see the Short Order Alphabet go as it is a very simple and versatile font and the size is perfect for greetings.
