Last Minute Gifts or Stocking Stuffers – Quilted Flowers

I love giving a handmade gift to friends and family each year and this year is no different.  I decided to give them these Quilted Flowers to attach to their purses or luggage. 

I used the Flower Folds Bigz XL die to cut the flowers out of fabaric and unbleached batting.  I then used a really old sewing maching to do the stitching.  Don't look too closely at the stitching as it is terrible.  I haven't used a sewing maching for over 10 years!!!  These also use the Chocolate Chip Double Stitched Grosgrain and Old Olive 1 1/4" Striped Grosgrain ribbons.

Here is the one I have in my stamp room on one of my cupboards.  It uses the Rose Red Double Stitched Grosgrain Ribbon.

I think we should make these in a class sometime…..stay tuned for that!!!
