Welcome to the March 2014 Tour de Freaks Blog Hop! We are so excited to have you join us today.
Our theme is Spring & Easter so you will see some fun projects using lots of different Stampin' Up! products. Our tour features some of your favorite Control Freaks Stampers. You may have just come from the blog of the incredibly talented Justin Krieger, you may be one of my blog stalkers or you may have just stumbled here…however you got here, you’ll be very glad you did! Be sure to take the whole tour! If you are arriving here on the 19th, please note that not all links may not be working yet. The tour officially begins on the 20th.
My first project uses the Single Stamp called Blessed Easter. I cut the words away from the flower image to create two stamps as I want to use these beautiful tulips on more than just Easter Cards. I stamped the tulips in Jet Black StazOn on Whisper White and used my Pink Pirouette, Blushing Bride, Pistachio Pudding and Gumball Green markers to color the image.
I used a 2-Way Glue Pen to add some Dazzling Diamonds Glitter to the flowers. I paper pierced around the oval adding a few sequins from our Gold Sequin Trim and separated the Watercolor Wonder Designer Series Paper from the flowers with a strip of Blushing Bride punched with the Scallop Ribbon Border Punch.
Supplies: Blessed Easter Single Stamp, Jet Black StazOn, 2012-2014 In Color Stampin' Write Markers, 2013-2015 In Color Stampin' Write Markers, Blush Blossom Stampin' Write Marker, Subtles Stampin' Write Markers, Watercolor Wonder Designer Series Paper, Blushing Bride and Whisper White Card Stock, Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border Punch, Blushing Bride Stitched Grosgrain Ribbon, Gold Sequin Trim, Stampin' Pierce Mat, Paper Piercing Tool, Occasions Paper-Piercing Pack, Dazzling Diamonds Glitter, 2-Way Glue Pen
My next project makes me drool, well, the chocolates do. :-) These are my favorite chocolate candies, Milk and White Milk Chocolate Truffles….yum, yum!! I discovered them back in December and have to force myself not to eat the whole bag.
I do have a VIDEO for this project so come back later this week.
These cute little treat holders use the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch at the top and have a little "tray" inside to hold the truffle. The bunny was created with three punches, the clouds with the Word Bubble Framelits and the grass with our Fringe Scissors.
Supplies: Scalloped Tag Topper Punch, Fringe Scissors, Elegant Butterfly Punch, Small Oval Punch, 3/4" Circle Punch, 1" Circle Punch, Extra Large Oval Punch, Word Bubble Framelits, Pear Pizzazz 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon, Old Olive and Pear Pizzazz Card Stock, Bone Folder, Stampin' Trimmer
That does it for me, your next stop is the blog of another talented Control Freak Stamper, Wendy Weixler, I know you will love what she has to share.
