We had so much fun last Saturday at my Mommy & Me Buld-A-Bear class that I will be offering it again!!
The girls made these projects and they did a great job and had a blast! The Santa on the tin was done with our NEW Build-A-Bear Big Shot dies. We used the Stampin' Up! Bear and the Stampin' Up! Beary Merry dies. The bear was run through the machine on a magnet sheet. The inside of the tin has pull out pages that can be used as a scrapbook or a journal.
They also made a bookmark and this was the biggest hit with them. My daughter was so excited that she made a few more after class, a little perk of being the daughter of the teacher. {wink}
We used the Two Tags Bigz die for the bookmark shape and the Melon Mambo Prints DSP. The little bear is an Embosslit called Pawsitively and he has Rich Razzleberry eyes and ears. His little heart is a piece on the embosslit.
An initial done with our FABULOUS Timeless Type Medium Sizzlit set finishes it off. Here are the rest of the bookmarks I have made and remember you can get FREE bookmark kits this month by placing an online order of $45 or more.
Our final project was this greeting card. We used the Beary Best Friends along with Beary Nice Wishes. The DSP is Tea Party. I had the girls use our Watercolor Pencils with Blender Pens. I don't use these pencils enough. They blend so smoothly and are really easy to use. If you don't have our Watercolor Pencils, you NEED them. 🙂
I will be offering this class again so stay tuned for my 2010 class schedule.
