Our first port of call was Ketchikan, the 1st city in Alaska. The weather was beautiful and we made the most of it wandering around.
Heading out to do some shopping in Ketchikan.
Pictures from both sides of the bridge on Creek Street.
We had a little fun talking about Totem Poles and I think Tom and Sandy are still laughing about it!
Here we are at the other end of Creek Street and that green building in the background is Alaska's oldest brothel. Can you see the fabulous coat I am wearing. It is another item I got on the cruise, I did have to pay for this but it was worth every penny as it is warm and very stylish!
We rode this Funicular Car up to a hotel at the top and the views were AWESOME!
Here is our ship out in the harbor and
this is the view from the other window, pure heaven!
Mike and the totem carving
We walked back down and it was steep. They call this trail the Married Man's trail, not really sure why??
Back on the ship getting ready to sail away. We needed these wool blankets as it was a bit chilly up on deck but it wasn't raining!!!
I will leave you with a sneak peak at a set in the new catalog called My Friend. The stamp was colored with our Watercolor Crayons before stamping it on the paper. Cool Huh!!
Don't forget all the retiring items, click HERE to view them all.
