Here is one of the Mother's Day Cards I am sending out this year along with a Gift Card Holder.
I used the NEW Fabulous Florets Stamp set from the Summer Mini Catalog.
My colors are Peach Parfait, Riding Hood Red and Baja Breeze, which I found on the Color Coach. I started with a 1/2 sheet of Whisper White and stamped a OSW (one sheet wonder). This is done by randomly stamping various images in different colors to create a background paper and then cutting it up and using the pieces on multiple projects.
The colored border on the Peach Parfait piece was done by sponging ink to the edge. I have a video showing you how to do this, it is called Adding a Faux Layer
The Gift Card Holder measures 3 x 8 and is scored at 3 7/8" from each short edge. The opening is created by sliding the Word Window Punch in as far as it will go from one edge and punching in the middle, then move the punch to the edge of the card stock so that it lines up with the edge of the punch and punch again, do this on both edges. I used my Crop-a-Dile to punch the holes for the Taffeta Ribbon.
