Muslin Bag Halloween Treat

Have you had a chance to play with the Muslin Bags shown on page 36 of the Holiday Catalog?  They are the perfect size and take ink from a sponge dauber really well.

I used the stencils that come in the Build a Banner Simply Created Kit to add the chevrons to this fun Halloween Treat Bag.

I started by stamping my spooky house image from the Best of Halloween set in Jet Black StazOn.  I colored the moon with a Daffodil Delight Stampin' Write Marker.  I used one  of the circles in the Circles Collection Framelits as a mask.  I added a bit of SNAIL and placed it over my house.  I drew a circle around it with my Basic Black Stampin' Write Marker.  While the circle was still in place, I laid the chevron stencil over the bag and used a Sponge Dauber to add the Pumpkin Pie ink.

BARB'S TIP: Place a piece of chipboard inside your bag.  This creates a nice hard surface to sponge on.

The trick or treat greeting, also from the Best of Halloween set was stamped in black on a strip of Pumpkin Pie and I used my Paper Snips to add a banner end.  I punched a hole in the other end and added one of the cute safety pins from the Vintage Trinkets pack of embellishments.
