Happy Easter to all of you who celebrate this meaningful holiday!!
I found some colorful Whitman's Marshmallow Eggs and thought they would make nice gifts for a few friend, however, they needed a package. :-) I took some mesurements of the egg and decided that I needed a box about 2 1/2 x 3 1/2 and 1" deep.
Here it is!!
I used a piece from the Shades of Spring Designer Series Paper for the top and added a Scallop Trim Border. The tag is from Eggcoutrements and was stamped in Certainly Celery. I added some bling from the Eggcellent Eggs Kit and wrapped it with some of our yummy Pretty in Pink Satin Ribbon.
Here is a view of the yummy egg laying on a bed of "grass". I ran some strips of Certainly Celery through my Crimper and cut it into skinny strips.
Here is my template, it measures 8 x 5 1/2. With the long side at the top of my Paper Cutter, I scored at 1, 3 1/2, 4 1/2 and 7. Rotate it so that the short side is at the top of the Cutter and score at 1 and 4 1/2. Fold on all score lines then cut all the score lines in 1" on the long side. Remove the center square on both sides. Apply adhesive and fold up. Easy Peasy!!
