My March clubs made these cards using the Drapery Fold Technique. We used both of the small floral patterned papers from the Wildflower Fields Designer Series Paper. You still have about a week left to earn this paper FREE during Sale-a-bration.
Here are the instructions for you.
Start with a piece of Designer Series Paper that measures 11-1/2 x 4
Place it on your Simply Scored Tool with the long side at the top and score at 3,4, 6,7, 9 and 10.
Trim on the diagonal from the 3" score line up to the other end leaving about 1-1/2" I used my Stampin' Trimmer but you could use scissors.
Fold back and forth on the score lines to create this drapery look. Adhere it to the front of your card securing the pleats.
Decorate as desired.
We wrapped a section of Calypso Coral Seam Binding around the card and tied it in a bow. The greeting is from the Rose Wonder stamp set and was cut out with the coordinating framelit from the Rose Garden Framleits set. The bling is a Botanical Gardens Jewel.
