Stamp-A-Stack...Fun, Fun, Fun!!!!

Stamp-A-Stack class was yesterday (Saturday).  I had a total of 23 gals signed up.  Four couldn't make it but they will still get their stamped images courtesy of Denise, Sonya, Teri and Melissa....we missed you  Pat, Tara, Lynn and Kathy!!

The gals each stamped 12 cards had a lot of fun....I know I had a blast!!  Here are photos of everyone in action (well almost everyone, where is Teri?) and some of their creations.  I will post my card samples tomorrow.

Here we have Denise and Sonya embossing with Mandy applying the Bead Duos to her Tart & Tangy cards.

Melissa, Shelta, Vickie and Lisa covered with Dazzling Diamonds glitter.  How do you look Lisa?? {wink}

Carousel Chocolate Favor

I believe it was Andrea who came up with this cute little chocolate favor.  Here are the instructions:

Score your Stampin' Up! Carousel Note at 1 1/2" on three sides.  These are found on page 7 of the Occasions Mini Catalog.

This next photo shows the score lines

Cut out the small sections at the bottom of the Carousel Note

Fold up the section on the bottom and then fold in the two sides.  I secured it with a mini glue dot.  I then cut a 1" x 6" strip of designer paper to use as a belly band

Wrap it around the favor and secure on the front.  You will be hiding the spot where the two ends come together.

Stamp as desired and add a focal point.  I used the butterfly from the Live Your Dream set with the 1", 1 1/4", 1 3/8" and Scallop Circle Punches.  Add a Ghirardelli chocolate and you have the perfect little favor.

If you need to order the Carousel Notes, email me anytime as I place orders often.

Let's all make some. :-)

Thanks for looking!!

Birthday Invitation!!

Good morning all, today is going to be a busy one for me so no messin' around.  This is a birthday invitation that my daughter received for her friends party.  It is the stinkin' cutest thing.  It was made by my friend Tara and I wanted to share it with everyone because it is just so cute!!!

Tara used the All in the Family and Famly Accessories sets with Lavender Lace, Cameo Coral, Apricot Appeal and Bashful Blue.  She cut out three balloons for each invitation so that was 60 of those little gems!!  The Crop-A-Dile was used to do the tiny dry embossing circles along the bottom edge of the scallops, talk about time consuming but the end result is soooooo worth it!!

Leave a comment for Tara and make her day!!!

Great job Tara!!!  Thanks for letting me share it with the world. :-)

Tutorial-Double Pocket Card with Front Flap

Edited to add a link to a printable document, you can find it Download Doublepockettutorial1frontofcard

Cut your 12x12 sheet of designer paper to 8 1/2 x 11.  Save the excess strips to make the pull outs.  I am using a sheet from Ginger Blossom.  Fold it in half both ways.  Decide which pattern you want on the front of the card and lay it face up.

1) Cut the right fold line to the middle, I put the bone folder in there for reference.

2) Lay your folded sheet on a piece of Grid Paper and fold up the bottom right hand corner at 2 5/8"

3) Fold the corner in the top right section at 1"

4) Rotate the sheet so the cut line is on the left side now and fold up the bottom right corner at 3 3/4".

5) Fold the top left quarter over to the right side. This photo also shows you where you will run your SNAIL adhesive later.

6) Now fold the bottom half up.

7) You can now add a strip of the contrasting side of the paper to the bottom pocket to make is stand out.  I used the 1" strip that was left over.  I put my strip behind the bottom pocket.

8) Then fold the left side over, this is the front of your card.

Now you have the basic steps to do this.  Following are some additional photos.

Now you can apply your SNAIL to close up the card.

I use my piercing tool to pick up a mini glue dot

Place the glue dots along the sides of the pockets to keep them closed.  You can also do this with your SNAIL before you adhere the bottom flap up.

Here are the inserts for each pocket.

Have fun, this is a very easy card!!

Seriously, this has to be it!!!

I know, I know "why can't she create anything else" is spelled A-D-D-I-C-T-I-O-N!!!  I have had the Sprinkles Glitters for a while and now that I have started using them, I cannot stop!!  I think this will be the last one for a while as I need to start getting ready for my upcoming stamp-a-stack class in a couple of weeks.....we shall see :-)

If you would like to sign up for my stamp-a-stack class on April 26th in Sheridan, Wyoming, contact me at
