Do you need a gift certificate?

I sell alot of gift certificates and I love to present them in a fun way so the receiver will have fun opening it.  I whipped up a bunch today so I could have them on hand.

If you need a gift certificate for a friend, family member or co-worker, let me know and I can get one to you!!

Staples and Beads!!

Quick post today as I am on my way to a party!!

This card was CASE'd from Kathy but I added the staples with beads.  I opened up my stapler and punched the staples through the card onto the piercing pad in the mat pack.  I removed the staples and added the beads.  Then just put the staple back in the holes and fold the prongs over on the back.

You can also take a staple and tap it gently onto an ink pad, press it onto the spot where you want it to transfer the ink and then use the piercing tool to create the holes for it.  Add the beads and attach it to your card.

Scrapbook pages

A couple of pages of my kiddos

Both pages use retired Simply Scrappin' kits and the Jumbo Outline Alphabet.  I stamped the letters in their names with versamark and heat set with clear embossing powder and colored them in with the Versamarker.  The page of my son uses Creative License SS kit with the tag and star punches.  The one of my daughter uses Happy Me SS kit and the tag punches.

Scrapbook Wall Hanging Class!!!

May is National Scrapbooking month so I wanted to offer all of you card makers as well as scrapbookers something really fun to celebrate it.

Come and make one of these adorable wall hangings (these measure 7 1/2 x 20 1/2 from the knot in the ribbon to the bottom of the last piece of chipboard)

We will be using the Crew Kids Girl or Crew Kids Boy Simply Scrappin' Kits which can be seen on pages 172 & 173 of the catalog.

These kits are great for showcasing babies, toddlers, boys, girls, teenagers, dogs or anything else you can think of and they will make a wonderful gift to grandparents.

The cost of the class is $25 per project.

Class fees must be paid by Thursday, May 22nd so I have time to order all of the supplies.

Each kit will include three On Board Book Basics chipboard pieces, half of a Simply Scrappin' Kit (either Crew Kids Girl or Crew Kids Boy), ribbon and jumbo eyelets to create this one of a kind personalized keepsake.

Tutorial-Mini Pocket Book

Here is my tutorial for making the Mini Pocket Book, I show binding it using the Crop-A-Dile as well as the Bind-It-All.

Littlebookout  Finishedribbonbook_2

Start with a full 12x12 sheet of Designer Series Paper.  Score it at 2", 6" and 10" on one side and 3", 6", and 9" on the other.  Add Sticky Strip as shown in the picture.

Fold up the two 2" flaps and fold it down the middle, the asteriks show where you would place the Sticky Strip.

Using a paper cutter or a pair of scissors, cut down 9" from one edge on the middle score line.

Then fold mountains and valleys as shown.

Add Sticky strip along this edge.

Start spreading the two sides apart

Continue until the book is in a line.

Gather the folds to look like this. Notice the circle at the bottom, this section goes into the Bind-It-All first

Place the bottom of the "W" into the Bind-It-All and punch (the book is too thick to do all at once)

Then punch holes in the other two bottom W folds

Add the 1/2" coils and decorate as desired.

To use your Crop-A-Dile, start from this step and push all the folds together

Use the Crop-A-Dile to punch three holes in the spine

Add ribbons to keep it closed and decorate as desired.

One Sheet Pocket Book doubles as Desk Scrapbook!!!

This is a little pocket book made from a single sheet of 12x12 Designer Series Paper.  I used my new Bind-It-All to put it together.

I used the Lovely Lilac Prints Designer Series Paper and the Build-A-Blossom Accents & Elements.

Here is an open view, there are eight pockets so I thought I would fill some of them with CASH!!!!

After I made my first little book, it wanted to spring open and then it hit me, this would make a great mini desk scrapbook and since it is National Scrapbooking month I turned one into a mini scrapbook.  I used a Simply Scrappin' Kit from the Fall-Winter Catalog and this is what the mini pocket book turned into!!!!

I am thinking that I will give this to my Dad for Father's Day to put on his desk and then Papa can see them all the time.

Look for the tutorial coming soon. :-)

More Chunky Glitter

Here is another card using the Stampin' Up! Chunky Sprinkles Glitter.  I pounced my Regal Rose craft spot onto the chipboard heart, heat set it using my Heat Tool and then applied some Mono Multi adhesive and added the glitter.
