More Criss Cross Cards!!

I just cannot stop making these cards and I cannot stop using my Big Shot.  This machine is something that I use almost every day, it ranks right up there with my punches and Stampin' Dimensionals, I just cannot create anything with out it.  You can get your very own Big Shot, go to my WEBSITE and order yourself an early Christmas present!!!

This card will be a M&T at my November workshops so I had to come up with a couple more using our new holiday papers in the Holiday Mini Catalog.

This one uses the Frosty Day DSP, I am liking this paper more and more as I continue using it.  The stamp set is Spotlight on Christmas, a great set as it coordinates with a number of our punches and I LOVE PUNCHES!!!!!  Colors used are Tangerine Tango, Bashful Blue, Kiwi Kiss and Close to Cocoa.

Same card using the same stamp set but I used the Ski Slope DSP instead.  The colors here are Baja Breeze, Kiwi Kiss, Riding Hood Red and Chocolate Chip.

Thanks to Patty for such a great idea!!

Happy Thanksgiving Card

I needed a quick Thanksgiving card and this is what I came up with.  I used my Pennant de in my Big Shot to create the criss cross scalloped edge pieces from the Autumn Vine designer paper....I LOVE THIS PAPER!!!!

The swirls are from Priceless and the greeting is from Holidays & Wishes punched out with the Wide Oval Punch.  The tab was made with the Round Tab punch.

Thanks for looking!!!

Happy Shoppin' !!!!

Halloween Magnets

I saw this idea on the SU site the other day and thought it would make a cute gift.  I used the Ghostly Greetings DSP, small cello bags, the Top Note die in the Big Shot Machine, Spotlight on Christmas and the Eat, Drink and Be Scary sets as well as the circle and Scallop punches on all of the projects.  I am really tickled with how they turned out!!!

There are two magnets in each package.  They are held onto the card stock piece with Dotto (removable adhesive).  The witches hat has a glue dot on it that I smooshed into the green Fine Cosmo Glitter.....sparkly!!

Here are a few more!!!  All the white circles look wonky in these pictures but they are nice symmetrical circles in real life.....typepad???

This witches hat has a green Ice Circle Rhinestone Brad.

I used markers to color the tag shaped stamp on this one.

I am thinking of giving these to some of the gals at my daughter's school.  Would this be a fun gift? Leave me a comment and let me know.  Thanks!!!!

Frosty Day Gift Bag

Another gift bag made from those little nuts and bolts sacks you can get at the hardware store.

I used the NEW Frosty Day DSP from the Holiday Mini.  It is really growing on me, see THIS POST for some cards I made with it.

Ran some Bashful Blue textured card stock through my Big Shot using the Snowflake die and added a half back pearl from my Pretties Kit.  Chocolate Grosgrain is wrapped around the front of the box and I made another little banner with my Photo Corner Punch.  See a VERY brief tutorial HERE

Thanks for stopping by and leave me a comment if you have time. :-)

How about a gift bag

I made a bunch of these a couple of years ago and loved them.

They are those nuts & bolts bags that you can get at the hardware store.  I cut a little off the top of the bag and then cut my More Mustard card stock a 1/4" bigger on three sides and about 2" longer to fit the bag to punch a hande.  As you can see, I forgot to punch out the handle before I took this picture. :-)

The DSP is cut a bit smaller.  I used my Big Shot to make the scallop, flower and leaves.  I added some linen thread to an Earth Elements button for the flower middle.  I added some Double Stitched Chocolate Ribbon andd some Sage Shadow Grosgrain where the DSP ends.  To distress the flower, I simply crumpled it up in my hand a few times and add some Really Rust ink with a sponge dauber.

I stamped Happy Thanksgiving on a piece of Sage Shadow card stock that is 1 1/4 x 3 and then used the Photo Corner punch to make the cut on the edge.

Supplies used

Holidays & Wishes stamp set

More Mustard, Sage Shadow, Chocolate Chip, Really Rust card stock

Really Rust ink for greeting  (I changed it to Chocolate Chip after I took this picture)

Photo Corner Punch, Earth Elements Buttons, Linen Thread, Double Stitched Chocolate ribbon, Sage Shadow Grosgrain ribbon,

Big Shot, Scallop Circle #2, Flower Layers with Leaf die

Love the skaters!!

I have seen a few of these cards on SCS and just love them!!  I demo'd this card last night at E'Lyn's party and the gals loved it. :-)

I created a mask of the skaters by stamping the image on copy paper and cutting it out.  I then stamped the skaters on my Shimmery White Top Note, placed my mask over them and stamped the row of trees over them.  Remove the mask and you have these wonderfully vintage skaters skating in a winter wonderland!!!  EASY PEASY!!!!

Supplies used:

Winter Post and Lovely as a Tree stamp sets

Handsome Hunter, Shimmery White, Brushed Gold card stocks

Handsome Hunter, Versamark and Encore Gold inks

Heat Tool, Embossing Buddy, Gold EP, Powder Pals, Gold Elastic Cord

You can order the supplies to make this card by clicking the "Shop Now" button on my WEBSITE

Roof Garden class in the mail!

What a mess!!!!  I just had to share this photo.  It is a bird's eye view of my stampin' table after I finished designing my Roof Garden Accents & Elements class yesterday

I am sure that your desk NEVER looks like this when you are done creating!!! LOL

Well I guess I had better show you the finished projects now. :-)

I made all these cards from four sheets of the Roof Garden Accents & Elements, I still have eight sheets left so I can make two more sets of these cards, can you say GIFTS!!!!   Who wouldn't want to receive these beautiful cards as a gift this holiday season.

I am offering this as a local class next month but I am also offering it as a class to go for all of you out of town customers.

The class to go includes:

Your own set of Roof Garden Accents & Elements - 12 sheets in the alterable tin (shown on page 182 in the current catalog)

All the card stock pieces to create the mats and bases for the five cards shown

1 Not Quite Navy Scallop

1 Build-A-Brad

18" of Kiwi Kiss Ribbon

4" of Whisper White Taffeta Ribbon

5 Whsiper White Envelopes

Emailed pictures of each card with basic instructions

Class to go - $25 plus $4.75 Priority shipping

Pennant Die and Ghostly Greetings!!

I used my Pennant Bigz XL die to make this criss cross card.

I placed the Ghostly Greetings Paper over the small pennant on the Pennant Bigz XL die and ran it through my Big Shot.  I folded the perforated edges over and used SNAIL to adhere them to the Basic Black mat.  I used the Round Tab punch on Kiwi Kiss Textured card stock and added a Black brad.  The tag stamp was inked in Kiwi Kiss and then I ran over parts of it with my Basic Black marker, a small piece of Kiwi Kiss Striped Ribbon finished off the tag.  If you would like to purchase a sampling of the striped ribbons or any of our ribbons, see my RIBBON SHARES HERE

Here is a photo of the pull out card:

This picture looks terrible on my screen, maybe typepad is having photo issues again??  I inked the definition of Halloween in Pumpkin Pie and went over the word "halloween" with my Basic Black marker to make it stand out a bit.

Happy Hump Day!!!
