My friend and downline Kay made this pin for me to take on my trip to Hawaii next month. Isn't is adorable. :-)
She's the best!!!
I made this card for my very dear friend Carla who has a birthday coming up. I thought it would make a great tutorial and you can find the details below. It is an accordian card with six panels. If you are a member of the Wheel Ink on it Stampers, you will find the file on the group website under files.
It uses the Delicate Dots Designer Series Paper that is FREE during SAB. You can earn a FREE pack of this paper with a $50 order.
Place an order with me of at least $50 between now and the end of February and I will send you the tutorial for FREE. Also included with your $50 order is your choice of a FREE SAB item and you can choose this super cute paper to create this project!!
You can also purchase the tutorial for only $8.95. Upon receipt of your payment, I will email you the four page file with instructions for assembly, pictures of each panel as well as the dimensions of the pieces.
I made one of these boxes for a workshop earlier this month (click HERE to see it) and decided to do another one for my workshop yesterday.
I used the Box #2 XL die and my Big Shot to create the box. I added a bit of the FREE So Saffron grosgrain ribbon.
Did you know that you can get a roll of this and a roll of Certainly Celery poly twill ribbon FREE with your orders during Feb and March? Well you can and there is NO LIMIT to how many rolls of ribbon you can earn. You can choose these two rolls FREE, one of each color, with every $50 order you place. Head on over to my shopping card in the upper right of the side bar and start shopping. :-)
Fun Flowers, this is a single stamp in the Under $10 section on page 208, way too cute!!!
Sweet Slumber Textured Paper - Love this stuff!!!
So Saffron, Riding Hood Red, Whisper White card stock
Baja Breeze ink, FREE So Saffron ribbon
Rich Regals Brads
1 1/4 square and square scallop punch
Jodi P!!! Jodi is the winner of the $100 gift certificate from my 50/100 board. We drew the winner at Sue's party earlier this month and I forgot to announce it here!!
I had pieces of paper each numbered from 1 to 100 and Denise did the honors by picking one from the box.
The piece of paper had the number 96 on it and Jodi had her name on that square.
WOO HOO JODI!!!! Jodi has been notified and she is thumbing through her catalog right now choosing her FREE goodies for the $100!
Stay tuned as I will be starting a new board in April.
I was contacted by a gal on the planning committe for a local fundraiser here in Sheridan, Wyoming called the Pink Flamingo. She asked if I would donate a basket of goodies for their silent auction. Of course, I said "Yes!" The Pink Flamingo is a crazy fun night and everyone comes dressed in pink, and I mean pink everything from tiaras to shoes and everything in between. It raises money for Family Planning of the Bighorns.
Here is the front of the basket
and here is the back
I cannot wait to find out who takes this baby home!!!
Here are a couple photos of how pink this event really is!!
The project today is done using the NEW Big Shot Stampin' Up! Exclusive Movers & Shapers Curly Label die. To see Stampin' Up!'s own Jaron Winder demo this super cool NEW die in a video, click on the picture of the scrapbook page to go to my website to view it.
Now onto my card
I cut my card stock to 4 1/4 x 11 (you do not need to cut the card stock, the die will cut and score the whole thing for you), folded it in half and added a piece of the Sweet Always DSP. I then placed it on my Movers & Shapers die and ran it through to cut the Curly Label hole in the top section. I stamped the outline leaf image from Botanical Blooms on the bottom of the card in Pumpkin Pie. The greeting is in Chocolate Chip.
I used my Watercolor Wonder Crayons to color directly onto my flower image stamp from the FREE SAB set called Botanical Blooms. I used the Regal Rose and Pumpkin Pie Crayons. After coloring onto the stamp, I lightly misted it with Stampin' Mist and stamped it onto my watercolor paper. I was so tickled with the results as it appears that I really know how to watercolor!!!! I let it dry, added the overstamped images in Chocolate Chip Classic Ink and punched it out with my Curly Label Punch.
I wrapped Regal Rose wide grosgrain around the front of the card and secured it with one of the NEW 5/16" brads. I love these colors together!!
You still have plenty of time to earn this stamp set for FREE, go to my WEBSITE and place your order and if it is over $50, you can choose this set for FREE!!
Please feel free to contact me with any questions, :-)
Here are the projects we did at my latest Big Shot Basics class this past weekend. You do not need a Big Shot to attend these classes. The projects are different each month so I look forward to seeing you in April!! Click HERE to see January's projects.
This card was so much fun to make, who doesn't love glitter!!! We ran the Sticky Pages through the Big Shot with the Beautiful Butterflies die and then covered it with some Supernova glitter. The Scallop was created by brayering ink all over the polka dot texturz plate and running the Whisper White scallop die cut through the Big Shot. The colors came from the Rainbow Sherbet DSP, come on spring!!!
Our second project was supposed to look something like this
However, I cannot find my Sweet Stems Embosslit!!! I looked everywhere and even offered my 5 & 7 year olds a reward if they could find it.....no luck. I had this Sweet Stems die cut piece in my "keep it because I will find a use for it someday" box and threw it on for the picture. I changed the DSP and the Embosslit and came up with this instead for the class attendees.
We used the Simple Flower Embosslit and the Bella Birds DSP. Since we now sell Clear Rhinestone brads all by themselves, I can use them on everything!!! WOO HOO!!!! So we did...LOL. We ran the Pretty in Pink card stock through the Big Shot using the new Box #2 die. It measures about 3 3/4 x 2 x 1 1/4 when it is put together. Perfect for that small gift and since there is only one small strip where it needs adhesive, it goes together super quick!!
Our last project uses one of my favorite new sets called Trendy Trees. These little trees are just so fun and you can stamp them in any color.
This card was CASE'd from Leanne G. I changed the colors to match those in the Flower Power card elements as I just think that color combo looks so rich. We taped strips of card stock together, ran them through the big shot with the Harlequin Texturz plate and then trimmed off the ends to fit on the card. We used torn copy paper to sponge the hills. The colors are Perfect Plum, Rose Red, More Mustard and Old Olive. I added a strip of Rose Red card stock and a More Mustard brad behind the image.
I love, love, love my Big Shot and I use it EVERY day!!! I often wonder how I got along without it all these years. :-)
If you want a Big Shot, this is the best time to buy it as you will receive FREE Sale-a-bration items with your purchase in addition to any hostess rewards you qualify for. You can place your orders directly through my website or you can call or email me with your order.
Happy Stampin' !!!
I had my Techniques Geeks and Big Shot Basics Classes this weekend. I will share the samples today and tomorrow.
Today I will show you samples from Technique Geeks Class, we now have 40 technique cards on our rings....WOW!!!! We learned Faux Dry Embossing and Colored Dry Embossing.
This is the Faux Dry Embossing. I love this technique with the Upsy Daisy stamp set.
We first stamped the image in Chocolate Chip and then over stamped it in Whisper White Craft Ink. We ran the whole front of the card through the Big Shot using the Distressed Texture Plate. The Chocolate Chip Taffeta Ribbon and the 5/16" brad add some interest.
Our next technique is Colored Dry Embossing. We used the Pick A Petal and Seeing Spots Classy Brass Templates on page 186 and the NEW Garden Greetings set. I just love the bright and cheery colors on this card!!!
We Dry Embossed a tag cut from the Lots of Tags Sizzlit set. Then we used my Stampin' Pastels to gently add the color to the raised images. The background was stamped with the Garden Greetings set in Lovely Lilac, Pixie Pink and Green Galore. A strip of Pixie Pink Textured card stock separates the two halves and I added a Lovely Lilac Oval cut with my Big Shot and the Ovals die under the main image.
Our next Technique Geeks class will be in April, why don't you join us!!!
This was one of my demo projects at a workshop last week.
It was done with the Box #2 die on page 194. I ran the die through my Big Shot, added the piece of double sided paper from the Sunshine Garden SS Kit and folded it up. There is only one little strip on the box that needs adhesive so this is a super easy box to put together. I wrapped the NEW So Saffron Grosgrain Ribbon around the box. You can get this ribbon for FREE during Sale-a-bration, click HERE for SAB details. The goodies inside included some Baja Breeze Striped Ribbon and some Polka Dot Punches.
Be sure to check out my Sunshine Garden Class in the mail.
This is one of the make & take projects at my February workshops. It uses the Sale-a-bration stamp set called Congrats.
We stamped the background with a stamp from the Sweet Stems set. Two of the other stamps in this set were used on the main image. The border is done with the NEW Eyelet Border Punch!!! We colored the images with ink pads and blender pens. The Mini Library Clip on the edge just wraps the whole thing up.
If you're placing an order online through my Stampin' Up! website, be sure you check the box outlined in red in the lower left corner to select your FREE Sale-a-bration items. The system will let you close your order without choosing something. I am hopeful that will be fixed soon.
Have a great day!! I am prepping for my Technique Geeks class today as well as making 39 Valentine's for the kiddos school friends.
I am offering my class planner to demonstrators for $9.95.
The class is based on the Sunshine Garden Simply Scrappin' Kit shown on page 164 in the catalog. You will make four greeting cards and four love notes in a Scallop Envelope box using items from the Sunshine Garden Simply Scrappin' Kit bulk buy. Click on the image to see it larger.
I will email you a file with close-ups of each project, some brief directions and a document with the dimensions of each project.

Here is another pouch I made with the Big Shot Pennant Die, you can view my first one HERE. We made a very similar version of it at my downline meeting last week. All of you gals who couldn't attend will be receiving packets in the mail to make these. :-)
Here is a close up view of the chipboard accent. This was made by adhering the Urban Garden DSP to a chunk of our Long Board Chipboard and running it through the Big Shot Machine with the NEW Beautiful Butterflies die. You can find the Long Board on page 183, you get a whopping six sheets for only $6.95 and my Tabletop Paper Cutter cuts through it like butter.
I added a Baja Breeze Button and a 5/16" brad to the center of the butterfly and the antennae are hand drawn (I bet you couldn't guess that could you!!! LOL) The circle that the butterfly is on was done with the Circle Scissors Plus and I sponged a bit of Baja Breeze around the edges. The stamping on the pennant was done in Kiwi Kiss ink using the fabulous NEW Fifth Avene Floral set

I got two more cards done with these yummy Bright Delights Rub-Ons. These are just so bright and cheery, I love them!!
This tree is just so much fun. You may be wondering what that round thing is in the middle of the trunk? Well, it is a brad covering the spot where I messed up the application. I did what I tell my gals NOT to do, I just started pulling it off without checking to be sure I rubbed it all over!! I didn't rub it very well at that spot on the trunk so the trunk looked broken. I thought that adding a brad would make it look like a big knot in the tree trunk!! What do you think?? LOL!!!!
Here is another card. I loved those fun flowers and that border strip across the top just makes me smile!! I used some Kiwi Kiss Patterns paper on the bottom. Notice that super cool Kiwi Kiss Corduroy brad....what fun!!!!
Thought I would add this card to this post as well since all three were made with the Bright Delights Rub-Ons. Details on this card can be found HERE
Don't forget to place your orders with me. Free products with every $50 you spend. Looking for a career change? Check out my FAQ HERE on becoming a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator and join my team.
I received the Bright Delights Rub-ons last week and have been wanting to play with them....finally!! I have been so busy getting ready for all my SAB parties, cutting, sorting and packaging all my product club orders, etc, that I haven't had time to create anything.
Well, this is one of the cards that I came up with.
Isn't this just adorable!!! I am just to tickled with how this card turned out. I used DSP from the Rockabilly and Good Morning Sunshine packs along with the large owl rub-on. I cut a scallop circle with my Big Shot and then ran it through again using a Texturz Plate. One of the new 5/16" brads adds a little interest and the greeting is from the Chit Chat Rub-ons. I wrapped it up with some Kiwi Kiss Striped Grosgrain.
Happy Stampin' to you!!!
