Carousel Note box with Rockabilly Designer Series paper - all Stampin' Up!

I love making little boxes for cards and I saw something similar to this a while back.  I was organizing some of my papers and things yesterday and suddenly that image popped back in my head.  I stopped what I was doing and made it!!!

I used a Kiwi Kiss Carousel Note as the lid and the Rockabilly Designer Series Paper for the box and Love Notes.  I put six Love Notes with envelopes inside.

I love the super cool glossy accents on this paper.  I think I was able to capture it in a couple of the following photos.  Here are three of the cards inside:

I will post the rest of the cards and a group shot tomorrow. Let me know if you want instructions on making the box.

Heat Embossing on Stampin' Up! Designer Series Papers

This is a technique that was spotlighted in our monthly demonstrator magazine.  Heat Embossing on our Designer Series Papers.  This is such a fun technique to do and half of the work is done by using our Designer Series Papers.

I stamped on my Urban Garden DSP with Versamark and embossed with white embossing powder.  A simple greeting at the bottom and a snippet of ribbon on a clip finishes it off.

Summer Love Note Cards with Pouch - Kit in the Mail

I did a class on this project back in April using some other supplies and I thought it would be super cute using the Summer Love Rub-Ons.  I am offering this as a kit for purchase, see below for kit contents.

The pouch is made from a 6x6 page protector.  There are five note cards with envelopes in it.  I used the images from one sheet of the Summer Love Rub-Ons along with a couple of stamp sets, scrap strips of DSP and card stock, small grommets, ribbons and the Big Shot with Texturz Plates.

I am offering a class kit to go for this project.  It will include:

1 sheet of the Summer Love Rub-Ons
5 Note Cards with envelopes
1 Baja Breeze Corduroy accent (brad or button)
1 sheet of Cameo Coral card stock, cut and scored for the pouch
1 6x6 page protector for the pouch
1/2 container of Small Grommets
4 pieces of various ribbons for the pouch and three cards
Emailed document showing close-ups of each card and a list of products used.
You will need to supply scrap pieces of card stock, stamps and ink.
I will take orders for the kit through June 6th.  I will then order the supplies, package them up and have them ready for mailing or delivery the week of June 15th.

2nd Teacher Gift

Here is the teacher gift for my son's 2nd preschool teacher.

I used the Georgia Peach paper again and cut the letters out with my Big Shot and the Serif Essentials Alphabet in Old Olive.  The Butterfly was cut with the Beautiful Butterflies die and then I ran it through the Polka Dot Texturz Plate in the Stampin' Up! Backgrounds set.  The White daisies have a Summer Sun button in the middle.

I have one more to show you but I need to get a frame first. :-)

Have a Safe and fun Memorial Day Weekend.

The end of May is approaching fast, The Buy One Get One FREE Paper Packs special will end May 31st as will the $75 Scrapbook Starter Kit.  Contact me soon to place your order or to sign up.

Teacher gift

Here is one of the name frames that I put together for my son's teachers.  I didn't have the other one done before the sun went down so I will photograph it today and post it tomorrow.

I used the Georgia Peach DSP on this project and my Naturally Serif Alphabet in my Big Shot.  I am so glad I saved up and purchased this alphabet as I have used it alot!!  See another name frame HERE, more teacher gifts in this post HERE and the treats for my kiddos classrooms HERE.

I also used the Beautiful Butterflies and the Flower Daisies #2 die.  The body of the butterfly is done with Pink Taffeta ribbon and the daisy has a flower brad in the middle.

Thanks for looking!!

Jumble Alphabet Quilt Card with Stampin' Up!'s Top Note

I have been wanting to make a quilt card for months now and I finally did it!!  It was so easy, I can't believe that I waited so long to try it.

I took a 3 3/4 x 5 piece of Whisper White card stock and used my 1 1/4" square punch to get the 12 different patterns of Washington Apple paper and glued them in rows.  Our double sided Designer Series Papers are perfect for this technique because there are 12 matching papers.

After I glued the squares down, I ran the sheet through my Big Shot using the Top Note die.   The strip of Bashful Blue Double Stitched ribbon was wrapped around my Pumpkin Pie layer.  The letters are from the Jumble Alphabet set.  The letters were punched out with the 3/4 circle punch and layered onto 1" circles in coordinating colors.  The large grommet was added as my accent and those things are just so cool, you can find them in the catalog.

Happy stampin' !!!

Another sample using Stampin' Pastels for the Chalk Lines technique

This is the other card I have on my video showing the technique Chalk Lines, you can view the video HERE.

I used pastels in Certainly Celery, So Saffron and Regal Rose and stamped the images in the same colors.

This is just such a fun springy card, I love it!!!

Order your Stampin' Pastels online at my website HERE

Don't forget that I have In Color products on sale through May 26th at 20% off, click HERE for the details!!

Video - Chalk Lines using Stampin' Pastels

Here is a really great technique that I have seen in a few places.  Get out your Stampin' Pastels and in minutes, you can create this background.  I have created a video for this technique using the paper cutter to get evenly spaced lines and it is below the picture of the completed card.

Have fun with this technique, it is addicting!!
